"Lack of promotion is ALWAYS the tracks fault."--PJ

Man, everytime I have looked at the faded asphalt it was silent. I dunno if I can bring myself to blame that burnt out light either.

Actually, once the track was hot--that was when they lit the middle of 3-4 after a gasoline spill.

They decided to put it out in about 20 minutes. It was part dirt track for the rest of the evening...

PJ--It ain't the track, it is the promotion that is lacking...

Earth to Short Track ONE--what is your point again?

Bulldoze the place instead of put up with what little racing there is?

If your love life slows down, I hope you have a different strategy.

Not any more than you understand grammar and punctuation... Get it through your thick scull old man, your 70s 80s and 90s don't matter. It's the 2000s now. That's all that is relevant. The entire WORLD is different now than it was in the 70s 80s and 90s and even early 2000s.

Oh and as for your Rusty Marcus era being so much better than it is now... See the following videos.

11 cars? Or how about 3 cars? Where are all the fans? You sir, have a clouded perception of reality.

I am not seeing the relevancy there.

Even if Phil does not reside here he is entitled to state his opinion--as you most certainly are, sir.

Doesn't matter where I live now, I still have a house down there and I lived there for 15 years and attended racing almost weekly the time I did. I have plenty of experience and knowledge. At least I try to keep things positive instead of constantly bringing negativity into everything the way you do. I can't remember one single post that was positive out of you yet.

You don't like the fact that I post here, tough shit. Get use to it skip

I've been to many many races across the state over the years from 5 Flags to Hialeah. I have plenty of experience with empty grandstands and low car counts down there. I've lived it. There is a reason I moved back north to race, 30 car fields > 10 all day long. FL is coming back around slowly and it's absolutely awesome to see and I am so stoked for the racers there and fans there starting to see a resurgence in FL short track racing.

2 years before Ozzy took over, but I suppose you blame this on him too?

                                http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/...k-feature-race

This article actually mentions one of the reasons that OSW has never been wildly popular and never will be. LOCATION.

This track is in a bad spot. I've always thought it was just kind of an out of the way place, even the 2 years I lived IN Orlando, it was easier to go an extra 20 minutes and shoot up to NSS or out to Citrus or something and I was almost certain to see a better show too.

Earlier in 2014, when Donnie was running weekly shows, the car counts were on par with other tracks and in some cases, better. The results page doesn't lie.
