I just have a hunch due to past experience, but if someone has the skinny on who started the "F53 being discontinued" rumor then feel free to out them. Whoever it was is an enemy to the Florida Asphalt scene by the detriment of their actions.

I've heard it from multiple sources...I'm feeling that it may have just been an excuse initially for promoters to get everyone on one tire. Who knows? They've been known to do crazier things...

Personally, I'm good with both tires, and will try to support all of the FL tracks.

Couldn't you buy the 750 in theory from any track and run it somewhere else? Like maybe you like price better at Auburndale, and you buy your tires for New Smyrna there? If one track is on the F53, I wonder who you will have to buy them from?

You could be right...but are most of the racers going to buy a tire that they can race for 3 straight weeks, at 3 different tracks? or are they going to buy one that you can race for maybe 2 weeks, at 1 track? I'm liking option A a little better...and I think that will start to show in car counts.

I think if it provides the OWM guys a little bit of relief on tires due to longevity, then that's not a bad thing. Maybe it will encourage some of the lower buck guys to come out more. Cars make the show.

I know the promoters have been known to do crazy things but the guys currently running NSS, DS, AS, and SS are not known to flat out lie to their competitors. That you have heard it from multiple sources helps solidify my hunch...

If the whole state in on the 750 except 1 track, that's not too bad. Especially considering that nobody seems to have anything really negative to say about the tire. If the F53 isn't being produced, then you can't do much about that. Btw Scott, looking forward to meeting you next week. Should be a good show. I like Sportsmans a lot. I'll come say hi when I get there. I will be a little late bc I have work that day.

And this is my opinion......2 races with proper tire management and not burning them up. Honestly. I will say that I will give the benefit of doubt to these 750's.......but It has to be proven to me that I cant bolt on a new set compared to 60 lap set and gain 2 tenths......The 8 can tell you more about them.....I'm a skeptic still

In my experience with the R750, which should count for very little since I have so little time in a mod, in 2 weekends on the same set there was zero difference in lap time for me, a slow old man.
