Tim, I have no idea if they contacted any promotor in Florida. My comment was i wondered if they did and what was the answer. Second, I'm sure they/northern and southern promotors had there hands full with this issue. Is it good, I guess so. They don't seem to mind. Have progressive or other SPEC motor builders here in Florida "that you can only run in Florida without a chip" run WITH a chip out of state that's regulated by the series or track promotors.
These promotors see what the difference is by the weight. Not only are you getting a 50lb weight break but, your running ALUMINUM heads. Hmmmm. Wonder how much of a weight break is that compared to a STEEL head motor. never weighed them, don't care too.
Once again here we go, I'm not trying to stir things up, just pointing out that somebody has taken the bull by the balls and done something about it. If you want to know if they called FASCAR, call Nerone. Don't know, don't care. he's dug his own grave with this issue.
