"Chevrolet has suspended its relationship with Kurt Busch indefinitely,"-- Chevrolet vice president of motor sports and performance vehicles Jim Campbell

Does anyone know the ramifications of this!?

That is, assuming he jumps through the hoops and promises not to misbehave anymore and is reinstated, and assuming Gene Haas still wants Kurt in the car, is that even possible due to Chebbie's "suspension"?

Old school this is exactly the type of ramification I was referring to when I said the entire sport is the victim of one persons unproven allegation. These are not safe times for sports figures with wealth now or in the near future. Again I state Duke lacrosse, Jameis Winston and now Hurt Busch all accused with not one shred of prosecutable evidence and no recourse against the accuser. I am not a conspiracy theorist but I will always say follow the money.

well Ya! look at some of the smoking hot wives many of these little turds have hanging off their arms especially the younger (new) drivers. I won't do names but many people see it. Those (wives) wouldn't be there if them boys worked at arby's or Auto zone.

It's over. NASCAR and Chevrolet have re-instated Kurt. That is subject to Kurt completing the NASCAR proscribed steps, like classes. Since he wasn't convicted of anything, i can't imagine what he's supposed to take a class on. Maybe not breaking rule 12.1 Actions detrimental to stock car racing. Anyway, he's back in the 41 car for this weekend at phoenix.

            Wow!

            Good for all parties involved.

I know of someone that cannot go home, cannot get to his bank accts, cannot see his kids.

Like Kurt, he reportedly pushed someone. Unlike Kurt, he has several head wounds and looks like he has been in a bar fight.

The story was they were "self inflicted" & that was good enough for the PoPo.

I believe they got it right. I was far more interested in Chevys response as I felt NASCARS was simply a matter of time. I feel the quickness of the response and sponsor reaction may signal come hesitance in the future to simply buy into the accusations immediately. Conversely if there is no doubt as to the act they cannot act quickly enough and should be as harsh as is warranted.

He was reinstated so Nasskar didn't look like complete idiots. Though he still has to take their classes (for something he was not charged for), they also said he is on PERMANENT probation.....................The Nasskar judge has pounded his gavel.............................

In reality they are all on permanent probation given the sensitivity of the issue and the press coverage. I am getting a little sick and tired of people trying to destroy a persons career simply based on he said/she said. In the absence of evidence or witnesses coupled with the propensity for financial gain we should all approach these cases with caution and an open mind.
