Interesting story behind the Kenny Brightbill #84 shot. He actually WON that ride in a popularity contest in Gater Racing News... readers VOTED him into that one-off ride. Fuzzy Van Horn also won a ride in a Benny Parsons back-up car, renumbered #77.
The 84 was owned by the Makar family, whose son Jimmy was the first crew chief for Joe gibbs Racing, with Dale Jarrett driving. Jimmy is also Dale's brother-in-law.

The track I'm going to for their Opening Night, pushed back the season opener because they were putting in concrete slabs and repaving the track, but we had some bad weather here that delayed all that. It's the only weekly track up here that runs the asphalt wedge Late Models on a regular basis.
