I seem to remember Frank Riddle driving a sprint car with four individual pipes per side with flares at the end of the pipes. Boy did they ring!

Emotionally, it is hard for me to accept that he isn't still driving a sprint car somewhere...

What's great about this list is that a lot of these guys weren't no slouches in full-fendered stock cars, including at least two Governor's Cup wins (Wayne Reutimann).
