Conceivably Wayne Reutimann Sr. could still increase his tally.

          This is a great list.

Does anyone know if this list has been updated anywhere since 2007? Thanks.

I think the 4th number, if any, is the number of wins in 2007 alone.

A couple things I noticed on here... al
Ost everyone with several wins did it on either dirt or asphalt. Wayne Reutimann is close to a 50/50 ratio, and Wayne Hammond is exactly there with 11 on each.

Kenny Adams only has 1 asphalt win.... it was at Orlando Speedworld on October 18th about 6 years ago. It was my birthday, and the race went non-stop in a wild showing of Kennys mastery of a Sprint car. The whole race lasted maybe 6-7 minutes, and every second of it was amazing.

Slammin' Sammy Rodriguez was an outstanding racer that never got the recognition he deserved as a great Sprint car guy. He is also the Grandfather of Aric Almirola.

Robert Smith was also very good on both surfaces.

Wayne Reutimann had 96 wins... Buzzie Reutimann has zero.

Jac Haudenschild also has a single win, and I believe I was there for that one also. It was the Florida Fairgrounds Speedway, and he was driving an under-powered Bill Roynon car. That didn't stop the Wild Child from running that car wide open, every lap, and smoked the local field.

Greg Staabs only win came in a Ledford Construction car, just after the team lost their driver, Jim Haynes, to a crash in Phoenix at the Copper Classic.

Matt Tiffany had only 1 win, and it was on asphalt. I met him at South Georgia in his rookie year... one of his first races ever. He ran great, but didn't win.... his comment to me was "wait till we get to the dirt tracks. I don't know what I'm doing on asphalt yet". He was real good on both, and to come out with only a single win is surprising (although the stats may have changed since this list... In fact, probably did).

Cool stuff to look back and remember.....!

My man Childers....THIRD on the list Has a couple of dirt wins...but most of 'em on the asphalt. Golden Gate, Sunshine, and DeSoto were probably most of those, although I think he won a couple or three down at Hialeah.

Also some very famous names from up north:

                  Dynamite Ollie Silva
                  The Ohio Traveler Rick Ferkel
                  Scruffy Bobby Allen
                  Jack "Do It" Hewitt
                  Steve Chassey
                  Jeff Swindell
Chuck "The One Armed Bandit" Amati
                  Ralphie "The Racer" Liguori

My bet is every single one of these guys is in a Hall of Fame or two.... And they all came to run with the TBARA at one time or another. That's impressive for ANY sanctioning body to have behind them.

Jerry, i don't think Buzzie ever raced a sprint car. I know he practiced one once and didn't care for it.

I am a litttle suprised that Wayne "Pooky" Reutimann Jr. only has 5 Feature wins though.

Sam Rodriquez was almost unbeatable for a while at Eastbay, fast and smooth.

Wayne Hammond always put on a show, still exciting today in his Modified.

Very true Larry. Bobby Allen was originally from the Miami area, but I've never heard of any racing he did on any local tracks. Once he landed in Hanover, PA and got in a Sprint car, he became very successful.

Same basic story for Modified superstar, Gil Hearne. Born down here, moved to NJ, becomes mega big star up north.

Any chance someone has any pics of these 2 in their Florida cars before their transfers to the north country...???

Bobby Allen at Hollywood Speedway in 1964... This car was built by Robert Hamke, Sr. (That's him talking to Allen in the second photo) - His son is a top car builder today now living in NC...
Gil Hearne at Hollywood Speedway around 1961...
