Small or Big. Should not make a difference. They bring just as much to the tracks as any other class. Because they are small, they also get picked on, being karts, bandeleros or minicups. They pay the same thing to go thru them gates as well as anyone else does. They do at times get shoved to the back. Or treated like they are a nobody, but they are a great entertainment.
And just to let you know, No one in the grandstands were leaving. They were all still there after they race. There was 3 more division's after them. And the Mini Cups did bring them to their feet..With the excitement & great show they were putting on.
It is pretty bad when a promoter - track owner - driver can not post something on this board with out getting slammed from someone.
Either by promoting the series, a driver, or a track.
Why most people won't even come on here, or post anything anymore.
Give it a rest sometimes.
As far as Jeff, he is a great driver. And Fast Mini Cup Series is honored to have him, as well as his other crew drivers race with us. Just ask Jeff, if he didnt have fun.
These cars can get up to speeds of 120 mph now. At a bigger track.
Used to be only about 100mph.
Fast Mini Cup Series is the first to have these engines modified, to go faster.
Bigger cams, Port & Polish heads, Advance Timing, etc.
All these series that have small cars, is to benefit the children. As well as let the adults have fun.
Thats all they want to do, and also some day maybe be a driver like you.
Again, the adults do it, for the fun. But find out you still have to set these cars up, just like you do the big cars. But more affordable to buy, and maintain.
By the way thank you Racefan99

racing provided by the sparse fields in other divisions. I can assure you that the quality of the racing far exceeds that of almost any series other than the TBARA. Passes made by passing, not rooting. Finishes regularly decided by tenths of a second, not lengths. Seay and Boneman, I challenge you to come to a DCKS race, stand near me, and if you don't get excited about the racing, I'll pay for your pit pass. I won't say anything to you to force a reaction, I just want to monitor it. Unless and until you accept my offer, or can describe an incident that made you dislike these series so much, your opinion is just and only that, your opinion.
) and watch these guys. JD is a math whiz, and determined, that to scale, these guys are doing about 230 mph. Even real speed, at 65 to 70, with your butt 1" off the ground, it's pretty spectacular.
