Hey one of Bobby's students got a top ten finish on Sunday

Aric A was my student asst. four years ago. WOW!!!! And to see on TV him lead his first NASCAR Cup Lap. I also had David Steel in 1996 as a student Asst. (it was cool to watch him in the Panzer IRA Indycar till it also almost killed in turn 4 at Texas). I have been blessed to had 18 others of them go the NASCAR Unvers. in Moorseville NC.
Yea it feels GREAT!!!! I know Iam not perfect. I am sure that the English teachers feel good to see one of their students have a "BEST SELLER". Touching the future is a great career. I have had just about everyones type of adult in a classroom (their attitude anyway) as a student. So it ready makes me think which one was Ozmosis Jones in. I started in 1975. And there's been about 16,000 plus students over the years.

BOBBY ! you do not have to defend yourself! these people ALWAYS make mistakes in grammar! your message is what's important. not the way you spell...
Don't let anyone take the wind out of your sails. You know and I know that the tower was totally destroyed by the hurricane. You had to get all kinds of permits to rebuild and that is what you were trying to say. The county has "APPROVED" the plans and given you the permits to go ahead with your plans for the tower, which includes a VIP room! Awesome!
I wish you the best Bobby because you have a good heart and you truly care about the fans and the drivers! Sometimes you are far too generous to people who don't appreciate it... be careful of that... ;-)
Just focus on the positive and ignore the negative!!! Good luck Bobby... I can hardly wait to see the "new" tower!
oh... and yes... some of these guys just continually like to have fun at the expense of people's feelings. Because unless you know them , they come across as plain cruel and insensitive. Don't let it get to you... most of it is all done for fun...all that is important is that your message IS being read. hahaha ....smile....

I don't think anybody was trying to be negative, mean or cruel, we just like to have fun, many times at other peoples expense. Most of the time, it's with people we have met, and know that 'they' will understand the humor. Sometimes the written word comes across a whole lot different depending on the way you READ it.

At times, I have teased Bobby, especially about the "everyone needs a nickname" gimic. But, since meeting the man, and seeing what good he has done with that Speedway, I have nothing but good things to say about the guy. On my only visit (so far) to his track (since he has taken over), he made Julie and myself right at home, Thanked us for coming, and even handed us a couple of CCMP T-shirts. Because of that shirt, we met a very cool couple that live just minutes from the track. Met them in Sanford at The Alley (killer Blues bar) about 150 miles from their home. We could have talked for hours about music, but instead talked about the track and the good things they've done.

Bobby is the first to admit his grammar isn't perfect, but his work sure is producing results. I won't promise not to tease him some more in the future, but I think now that we've met, he realizes it's all in fun!

Keep it up man... one of the hardest working Promoters in Florida!

if bobby felt it was all in fun he would not have found the need to come back with a defense. ive known him for many many years. we are close friends. i get tired of people always making fun of him and every time he comes on the board feeling happy and good about something, there is someone who has to find fault.

It's just that I was reading this new inspirational book I got by the Venerable Zen Master Kyung-Ho about how to always do your best and make sure people that you want to reach can understand you and what you want to say.....he really stresses the importance of first impressions and how to affect the way people treat you by doing you're very best to express yourself in a clear and easily understood fashion.
If you haven't read his book, you really really really really really should. Cause he;s just about the bestest and most profish...proph....porfishent....he's pretty good at motorvadin people and making them make big changes in there lifes. I know my life wll never ever be the same after how I readed his books. Did I mention you should really really really buy his book and read it?

IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE AS TO HOW YOU COULD LIVE. REALLY.


Bobby or Boddy...whichever.....I was the guy who sat in the back over on the left side. I always had a firm grasp on the obvious and expressed a deep but profound distaste for hypocrisy and misrepresentation. Which is probably why I got sent to the dean for making that older girl in the front row cry. She was always saying the most inane things and making the most incomprehensible arguments about things that she really didn't understand. The dean ended up agreeing with me and after I fixed his car he made me an office aide and I got to skate for the rest of the year. (earning me scorn and jealousy from the rest of the would be troublemakers/future karnacians)
You may remember I mooned the Vice-Principals wife at graduation.
