Tower Sponsor example "The CCMP IBM Systems Tower".
We are also looking for a VIP booths (2 rooms) Sponsors to name the suite after their Companys.

This area will be 10' by 30'. With a private entrance for up to 20 people in plush climate controlled and stocked refreshment area. For Company VIP's and their guest ONLY. The Timing Scoring and Press area will also be with in the Tower. It will take the remaining 10' by 30' area. It will completely enclosed with 4' high walls and 4' glass windows to allow the VIP's watch them in action or to see through them to view turn 4. Please call the track 941-575-7223

Bobby, are you sure it wouldn't have been a better idea to spend the money for amenities for the fans , or increase the purse , or upgrade the pits or the lighting , or do more media promotion , or , or , instead of spending money on a very select few who would never come to the track if it weren't for the air conditioned box and free food .

Getting a few well-heeled sponsors is the trick to be able to:
Raise purses
Install better lighting
Upgrade the pits
Do more Promotion & Advertising

Do you think the VP of Marketing for Advance Auto Parts or Pepsi-Cola is going to spend a bunch of company money to sponsor a race/track and sit out in the boiling heat, swatting mosquitos? And if the guy is writing me a check for $5000 to be an event sponsor, your damned right I'm gonna fill him (and his buddies) with all the chicken wings, sub sandwiches and Budweiser that he can handle. If they don't FEEL like they are being treated as VIP's, they won't SPEND like one either.

They could sit in the sun, swatting mosquitos with the rest of us for $15 each, rather than $5000.00

Bobby DOES have the right idea. Without some Corporate help, no track can move forward with improvements, strictly from that huge amount of income (obvious sarcasm inserted here) that the weekly fans and drivers bring in. If you haven't noticed, most tracks are barely surviving on their own, let alone have an extra wad of money to throw at improvements.

Never would I attempt to correct a teacher - BUT, I understood it to actually mean the plans have been "Accepted" by the C.C.Building Dept.

Just a slip up... the man is doing great things with CCS. With all he is doing, he would be well advised to have someone help him out with his posting of messages... Heck, I've seen another promoter do a much worse job here on the message board and really looked bad.

Your mistaken. I was on a leave. I am back. I have a Masters degree in Technology Education and Vocational Automotive. Thanks for your imput. We strive to the best we can through hard work (and other imput). I'll work on my Composition.....
