I was gonna hijack your thread and post a link to my first experience driving Daytona but I can't seem to get it to work. What's the trick?

OS is right, I am a Porscheaphile ; ). They are actually normally aspirated, but have loads more torque and a better gearbox than the Ferrari, which is very peaky and slow shifting compared to the Porsche Cup cars. We also weigh close to 3000 lbs., whereas most of them weigh 2700-2800 lbs. Some are in our class and some are a class up. If you look closely you notice they pull us off the corners and are a bit better under braking. Once we reach max speed (165mph) just before the bus stop, and thru the trioval (175mph), we even out, and maybe even start to gain a bit, but it is too late. But, it is still racing a Ferrari at Daytona!!

I strongly suspect that if Joe's modified wasn't offset, he would give you a run for your money in that thang.
