Amen to that. As we saw in one of the above posts ( the one concerning what Bobby was "told" about the bleachers) , Bobby is likely also wrong about how many people are interested in taking over the lease. I'd think there are probably quite a few people interested, that track has always had big potential. I'm hoping Jimmy Cope is one of the interested parties.
Of course, this is all premised on
A. the lease is going to be taken away from the Haase family.
B. the lease is then going to be put up for bid.
The Airport Authority just might have something else in mind for the property.

If it goes to a RFP expect 1 year to 1 1/2 years of NO RACING!!!!! It takes that long to go through the motions. Matt please don't come to the meeting. There will be enough BS in the room as it is. Plus do you even have transportation? When the Levee Breaks a Mountain man will leave his home.

He was told you have to have your own personal insurance. Now that's a REAL NO NO. The Air Port is going to shit. Let's grab a bit to eat after the Levee Breaks. So far Gary, Leroy, Don, Bobby , Kevin, hell I call Mike to see if he wants to grab a bite!!!!
