I really miss the speedway and wish someone would take it over and save it, what I never did get a answer to was how did Williams get away with raping the track, taking all the equipment that didn't belong to him and he is still not in prison. Yes the track has it's problems but a promoter could make it work if he didn't have to start over after Williams stole everything from the track. I just never understood, you lease a car you can't strip it before you return it, I have leased a home before, but after my lease was up I couldn't take the stove, fridge heating and air, plumbing and wiring from the house, I'm sure I would be in jail. How did he get away with stealing everything??????????

I think the story is that Hurricane Charlie tore up the bleachers, fence and whatever and he repaired all that stuff so he took what, he felt, was his. I'm not saying it was right, or wrong, only that's how he justified taking that stuff.

You are way off. The bleachers came from Sunshine after it shut down. Leroy still had the place then. All that stuff was there when bobby took it over. Kevin did what he did to be an ass plain and simple. To go after him civilly would prob have been a costly pain in the arse im thinking, so the airport let it go I think.

Less than a dozen days left! Last night I even heard more about the trouble in paradise. The mosquito population is exploding around the Charlotte County Air Port. Wonder what could be causing it. HUMmmmmmm.....or was that BUZZzzzzzzzz... I wonder if Code Enforcement will be looking into the changes???????. I find myself listening to Led Zephyr music a lot lately. Da Da Da... and makes a Mountain Man leave his home.......That's right "When the Levee Breaks. GREAT SONG!!!!! Check out "No Quarter" the number 10 song for head scratching lyrics.

Bobby, I like you and respect you for what you do for racing on Florida, but stop stirring the pot, you said what you had to say now let it rest. With the way you keep on going it looks like on of two things, you either have an axe to grind with someone or you secretly want the track to become available so you can get it.

With the way you keep on going it looks like on of two things, you either have an axe to grind with someone or you secretly want the track to become available so you can get it.

Bobby is just desperate to be seen as relevant in local racing. And he thinks the way to do that is constant self promotion and pretending to be "in the loop". And like all of his postings, these have also gone way over the top.
The current lease and tax situation of the Haase family shouldn't be spread around the internet. For one thing, we only have Bobby's word for these things, and that's usually not worth much.
It does seem like he's out for revenge, or more likely, he's reveling in the fact that someone else might have made almost as big a mess of track ownership as he did.
