I hold back for no one. If it gets me banned, so be it. I'll still sleep well at night. It's not about respect, it's about sensibility, and when you see the same thing repeating itself down there over and over it just gets to a point where it's like are you kidding me?! If these dopes are all happy racing against 5 other cars in front of 25 people. Good for you! That's not racing by the standards of the rest of this country. There are very few places struggling as bad as FL, but those places aren't chasing their tails in circles recycling the same ideas and failed promoters and staff trying to justify why it should work this time and didn't before. Take off the blinders... Before it's too late... If it isn't already.

There is a line from a song by Megadeth that goes "you lie so much you believe yourself" These people down there are lying to themselves so much that they believe there is no problem at this point. It's depressing especially when you have someone like me with so much passion for this sport. Good luck to you all. FL racing will be extinct in about 10 years.

I asked a while back what your objectives are, and it really does not currently appear that it is to "save" Florida Racing, but rather grind an ax that you have invented.

If it is to improve our sport, consider figuring out how to express yourself in a fashion that is not off putting and distracts/detracts from your point.

If not, one way or the other you and your opinions will soon be relegated to a non-issue. If that truly "doesn't matter", why bother in the first place?

Maybe you can figure out this is a gift, pull up, and respect the opinions of others. Maybe not. At any rate, it is all a choice.

Who really cares which tire Yoho runs, or what "Q-bonus" pays, especially if it does not impact us personally? It is their deal and they are gonna do what they are gonna do.

What matters is that you can state your opinion and be okay with whatever happens after that.

Back in the day, I had a bud and we had a saying, "The Truth, no matter who it hurts!" (sound familiar?).

We gave it up because eventually it occurred to us that it was always...us.

You may or may not like Phil, but I enjoy reading the things he has to say. I don't agree with every single thing, but that's normal. There is definitely a cultural issue here. I will tell you, 11 years ago, I raced and crewed at the tracks Phil does. Coming down here was a shock to my system. But I have learned a lot about FL racing in that time. Some things you do up north will work. Others, southern racers will meet with a lot of resistance. They are very different worlds indeed. I've explained to Phil a lot of the differences and he sees where I'm coming from. But just understand, in Phil's neck of the woods, that no holds barred and in your face style is a lot more normal. That is why a lot of southerners hate Yankees. But it's normal to us. I enjoy his posts and I know his heart is in the right place from the conversations we have had.
