The objective is to point out the fact that you have douchebags, that no matter how positive the situation (such as this where a great sponsor stepped up to award bonus purse money) Someone has to bitch and complain. You know what that does? IT PUSHES AWAY FUTURE POTENTIAL SPONSORS. Something I have spoken of on MANY occasions here. It's lunacy to sit and bitch about $50 awards to the lower half of the field just because you don't think there was "performance incentive" Shut up and be glad someone was willing to support you. Why is the lower half of the field any less deserving of the bonus money? Cause they ran sub-par this event? Maybe they had some unforseen issues. That bonus money goes to helping them resolve those issues. Maybe they just had an off night. That bonus money helps them recover some of their losses. I think it was awesome of Q to sponsor the back half of the finishing order to help them out a bit. But FL logic and entitlement says that everyone has to be critical for no god damn reason at all...

How about this...

IF YOU WANT TO DICTATE WHERE THE MONEY GOES, PONY UP BIG BOYS! OTHERWISE SHUT UP AND BE GRATEFUL THAT SOMEONE GIVES A DAMN ABOUT YOUR SPORT!

The greatest thing about Teaching for 32 years is I think I have had every type of personality in my class. I have been Teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th after returning to the classroom. I think some grow up and get on KARNAC. Just kidding. I sometimes sit back and let the combatants work things out and at the end of the day I go home with a smile on face.

I'm not scared of Rick... He and I have spoken times before. If he wanted me gone I would have been gone long ago.

There is a line from a song by Megadeth that goes "you lie so much you believe yourself" These people down there are lying to themselves so much that they believe there is no problem at this point. It's depressing especially when you have someone like me with so much passion for this sport. Good luck to you all. FL racing will be extinct in about 10 years.

I always go to bed with a smile on my face knowing I live in a part of the country with one of the most successful short track racing communities in the United States. I wish you well Bobby, despite your past issues that I have read of, you obviously have a great passion for making this better. Unfortunately it's going to take more than one person.
