    Agree with (identify with...?) MFR.

Last week we were trying to get the late models out from under the tarps and this week we are bringing a new class...?

    Regardless, good luck (straight up).

As I stated in the beginning of the Late Model tread that Gary at Citrus asked me about how we could combined the different types of Late Models as I did when I owned CCMP. And to see if the cars that are parked had reasons that we could address and get the car count up. The FAST Late Model's had a great two years and that's where the combing starting. I really thought that by getting to the bottom of why than we could address how to get them going. It's not dead. I am still working on getting tires (recaps) to test. The trucks came together very quickly and my focus will be on FASTRUCK Series "The NEXT GENRATION" for the first race next week at Citrus. I will be doing both so if you have one call me or post your number and I call you.... Thanks for the interest in the Sport. I hope this clear up were I am.

          Long DAYS (and nights)....

Wow!!! the interest is unreal. I started at 5:00 am yesterday at lunch and then after school I got back on it till 10:30 or so. Back up at 5:00 and again stoked of the positive post and great question that shows the depth of the passion. Thanks and keep those questions and support coming. I will not be able to be at Desoto tonight my sister in-law is getting a surprise 70th birth party tonight (family alwatys sould come first). So chase down Danny Anderson #50 blue Ford Truck and get the latest and greatest on the Series. I feel good about the Desoto Pro Truck field and look forward to a great field of trucks next week at Citrus. When I called Danny (the new GM at Desoto is excited about working together on making Short Track Racing stronger for everyone) to find out about practice for last night.

just to clarify we have a shock rule, $200. max per shock steel body non adjustable, they can be rebuildable gas pressure, IMO we need a one brand low cost steel body basic racing shock, so everyone is the same

From what I understand is that everything ,Membership, rules, tire rules, payout will be the same as the old Series(JCTS). I wasn't there last night at Desoto and the Teams had a meeting. Again the FASTRUCK NEXT GENRATION will be run by YOU the Teams!!! I hope this answers your question. If your coming please call me 813-817-7223 and I will add your name. Thanks for asking the question.

You are RIGHT!!!!! I must admit it's self severing. If a Team feels that the Tech Man is only doing as little as possible (so he can go home and eat on the way). I do want that Team calling me. They need to (as a Committee) fire the lazy SOB Tech Man so that the rulers are enforced. Don't shot the massager. I am the Series Promoter (yes, that makes me the massager). Now let's get everyone possibly to Citrus. Thanks for the positive post!!! Andre call me 813-817-7223

Bobby. This is some great news!!! I'm glad to see the Fastrucks back in action. The Fastkids division was a great steppingstone for the kids to come from Karting, Bandolero's and such. My son used it as a steppingstone when he was 13 years old to full sized stock cars. You made us feel very welcome in your series and we have always appreciated that. We had a very successful run. The Fastkids division help my son become the first person under 16 to win a race during Speedweeks at the World Series of Asphalt. The trucks really help him gain some great car control. Although we skipped the Fastrucks pro division. He went straight to your Fast Late Models division at 15 yrs old where he won the Fast Late Model 100 race at citrus in only his third start in a late model. Bobby, we stuck by you all the way till the end. You always had the racers in your heart. We raced with you all the way until your last race which I think was the Super Late Model Buddy's Home Furnishing 150 at CCMP. We took home that big WIN and the big check!!! Contrary to all the chatter on Karnac. You made sure that no matter what happened we got 100% of our portion of the purse. You stood by your word and we thank you for that.

Bobby, we would love to come and run some races with you. But due to the fact of the favoritism in tech, The unfair on track calls, and just the complete idiotic calls the guy that ran A-dale and the guy that ran the F'ed UP series, we took the Fastrucks that we were competing in and sent it up to the shop in North Carolina. It was the fast qualifier the last time we raced it. It's just sitting there race ready.

So Bobby, if you know anybody who needs a good wheelman for a truck, you've got my number. If you guys get this thing running and can provide good tech and no favoritism on the calls. We might just load the truck up and bring it back to Florida. I wouldn't have a problem with that at all.

PS. Bobby, I know how proud you are of your Fastkids graduates. So I thought you might like to hear this. Dustin graduates Palm Beach State College the semester with Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society honors. He just received his acceptance letter from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He will be attending the Alan Kuwicki Motorsports Institute and will be majoring in Motorsports Mechanical Engineering.

Thanks for all of your support through the years. We wish you luck.

Shock deal is very simple. Steel Body, non-adjustable and $200 per shock limit. With proper weekly tech the problem would be resolved. have guys pull thier left front and pull the hiem end off and make sure there is no hidden adjuster done with a small screwdriver. that would be the most time consuming of teching shocks and wouldn't be needed weekly. now allowing steel rebuildables really actually saves money. instead of having 10-12 shocks with different rebound numbers rebuildables allow guys to have maybe 2 sets and are cheap to rebuild. bottom line is proper teching and driver policing will resolve and keep the issue under control because all being very specific trying to enforce everyone having the exact shock will just make those with deep pockets get them built anyways and they will look the same.

motor deal is can also be very controlled with proper weekly tech and mixing it up every week as to what will checked. unsealed motors will add weight and sealed "legal" motors get a weight break. stop all the ridiculous drivers meetings over little this and that waste of time. set the rules for sealed and unsealed and follow it by the book. make it clear that any motor rule can be changed or adjusted as needed to keep things as even as possible.

Tire soaking is another thing not needed nor should it be allowed and, AGAIN, establishing a minimum # will be considered the softest number allowed and keeping that quiet is the way to eliminate soaking. check the tires of trucks coming off the track after hot laps, check multiple ones and be sure all that are checked are on NEW STICKER tires, come up with the number and from that point on ANY truck with a softer number is disqualified. We had issues with this back in michigan and when tech went to this format, the issue resolved itself within two weeks.

TECH, TECH AND MORE TECH along with ZERO FAVORITISM and CONSISTENCY with everything weekly. In the end, if that is done properly and by the book, rule issues and weekly discrepencies go away by themselves.
