motor deal is can also be very controlled with proper weekly tech and mixing it up every week as to what will checked. unsealed motors will add weight and sealed "legal" motors get a weight break. stop all the ridiculous drivers meetings over little this and that waste of time. set the rules for sealed and unsealed and follow it by the book. make it clear that any motor rule can be changed or adjusted as needed to keep things as even as possible.

Tire soaking is another thing not needed nor should it be allowed and, AGAIN, establishing a minimum # will be considered the softest number allowed and keeping that quiet is the way to eliminate soaking. check the tires of trucks coming off the track after hot laps, check multiple ones and be sure all that are checked are on NEW STICKER tires, come up with the number and from that point on ANY truck with a softer number is disqualified. We had issues with this back in michigan and when tech went to this format, the issue resolved itself within two weeks.

TECH, TECH AND MORE TECH along with ZERO FAVORITISM and CONSISTENCY with everything weekly. In the end, if that is done properly and by the book, rule issues and weekly discrepencies go away by themselves.
Dang Todd I think you have nailed some of the questions, but most of all you a gave answers. Thanks I think I need to summit this to the Committee.

Man my phone battery died when it came back the calls are coming.....

As the phone turns left..... We can add Cody Jett to the List of will be at Citrus. Also Michael LaPlant got his ready and that makes it 11. I talked to Teams going to ThreePalms (they live there and they say try are paying the same) Ricky Moxley would be at Citrus with two trucks, but his Sponsors wants him to go the Three Palms. They all said that when we come to Three Flags (oh shit I mean Palms). I was talking the Tim of 5 Flags about getting the two series together for a Special Show. We talked many times over the years and we will talk some more in the morning. So keep those cards and letters coming. This is going much better than I could of DREAM!!!!

            Hi Bobby,

This is great news. I've been a long-term "quiet fan" of Florida racing but decided to sign up to say how glad I am to see somebody picking up the gauntlet for Florida's Pro Trucks after the Coulter series shut down - the crash and burn of the SLM series has been bad enough, so to see the Trucks running is a big thing.

As an amateur statistician who does volunteer work compiling results and such for several places, though, I'm curious: do you have a schedule worked out beyond Citrus yet? Is there a website/FB page for the series?

              A new idea!!!!!!

Welcome to the "Breakfast Club". Last night Pete Davis called (I couldn't talk and ask what time was available in the morning). He said that he leaves really early and that he at work by 6:00 AM and can't talk at work. I said I'm up early what time are you on the road. We set up a time of 5:45 AM (sometimes I think "I've got it BAD"). Pete has built a truck and is glad to see the Series that JCS continuing. Isn't it great NEW trucks being built. He said he's been watching KARNAC and has been reading the current rule book. He asked if we are changing any rules, because he said the rule look good. I said the "NEXT GENRATION" will be open for the Teams that belong can address items of concerns about seeing if the majority would vote on a refinement. The main focus is to ENFORCE the rules as raced. So I would like to thank Pete for given the idea on the early morning talks to the Teams that can't get together during the normal day. So call and leave a message of a good time (within reason please) or post and I try to get to everyone.
Remember positive build positive. Thanks and let's go RACING!!!!! If you can't make Citrus remember we are not going anywhere and always looks to expand our membership.

                Few ideas

                Here's some ideas.

I think if a serie promoter would ask all the tracks he visits with his serie to have a local class that matches its rules, in the long run , the series promoter and track promoters would both gain a lot.

                2 things draws lotsa fans:
                1- big car count
2- the local fighting the outsiders

Imagine u have 6 tracks on your list and all those tracks have 15/20 local trucks each. You show up on Saturday with 30 trucks of your series. Tadammmmmm!!!!!!!

ACT, Nepsa in the 90’s, the NE Dirtcar series, WoO Sprint and Late Models, and many successfull one are like that, and they are successfull a lot because of that.

Encourage local track to have that class locally, do not forbid them to have it, which seems to be the trend now. They all shoot themselves in the foot.

Again here IMCA understood that a long time ago. Something like 75 track are IMCA sanctioned in US, many race same night with same cars rules, and close to each other. Nobody bitch about it. And when there is so and so series showing up, everybody wins.

Imagine now if you would make your serie’s races Friday night or Sunday afternoon/early evening, everybody in the whole Florida is available and can attend as either a fan or a participant….. how about that????

DirtCar does that with the Big Bloc Super Dirt Serie, They come here at Drummond on Monday and Granby on Tuesday, jam packed solid, like 6000 at Drummond and 7500 at Granby. That is a lotsa people. A day where there is no racing anywhere, and the local going against the invaders, that is what gives the winning combination!

Really good advice here. It seems that the Florida promoters are reluctant to try these though. They are tried and proven. I think one of the most important things to really make these successful is to have the series races on an "off" night. Don't race on a regular Saturday night. When you do that, you force drivers to decide whether they want to run for regular track points or series points. If they choose to run the series, they won't be available to run their regular track on some nights and animosity is generated between track owners who are trying to build or keep a car count in a class, and the series. I traveled to a lot of DIRT car Super Dirt Series races in the northeast and most of those shows are run on weeknights. That way the drivers can compete for regular track point, as well as series points. In fact the series would have year end points fun that gave bonus points based on your track points. So if you won your track championship, you might get an extra 50 bonus points added to your series points. Those point can and do make the difference in tens of thousands of dollars in year end points. This is really good advice from Andre and I hope you take it.

Winger you and Andre have both been around and seen it work and not work. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy's. Rick worked hard to do just what Andre is saying. This weekend is a perfect example of bull headedness at it's finest. Friends throwing mud on each other. When I first was asked to get back in the game (in the sport we all love and have passion for it) and was told that SPATS was still around (last I heard a year ago that we only had the one touring) I tried to get both groups together. It's not about me it's about the challenge to keep our love alive (Stock Car Racing). We are looking at the Schedule that the JCS had to fit side by side so that the tracks can race their truck division and have a benefit of the Touring Series to make them have a bigger show for a revenue stream. Some racers like to go and enjoy several tracks to get the challenge of change. We need to all work together the make the racers able to race for a track Championship and the Touring. So lets start today and look at the future and get thing going again. GREAT post!!!!
