He builds Trucks (at least he did at one time). I just threw it out there because of all the Bobby's other people have said.

Bobby Owens has been building truck chassis for years out of Tampa. Never knew what the chassis is called or his business name. I sold him our SLM in 2010 and he informed me of what he does. He also told me he built the truck Matt Martin raced back then. I talked with him once last year and he was renting race trucks also. Other than that, that's all I know about him. Hopefully this may help those wondering who he is. Team LRE SLM #8

If your are looking for a Truck.......

I was looking at Racing Junk yesterday. Man is there a lot of good trucks on there. Starting at $5000.00 and up you can get in a turn truck asap. Also check out the SPAT's on face book. Saw new trans and clutch rules. The adjustments look good. Hope the word got out in time from Sunday Race Day. Weather looks great.

How did the race go on Sunday 2/16? Who won? How many trucks were there? Nothing posted anywhere.

Update

2 trucks and they combined the trucks and the sportsman. Trucks started at the rear for the heat and was suppose to start the feature from where they finished, the #7 truck finished 3rd and they decided to still put them in the back for the feature again saying they were not running for points. The #7 truck finished 2nd over all while the #1 truck went into the infield during the race. Not a lot of love for the trucks there, (The trucks don't help themselves either) The series will be hard to get going there with the lack of support.
