Yea where do you weld it too when theres no frame the thin floor pan ? no thanks

the floor is boxed at the corners and along the back. weld plates and those are your 4 mounting points. on the right side you could even tie it to the "frame" rail
if you want to offset the cage.
lets all take a long ride on a short bus.

I quit fishing because no one was standing at the docks handing out money when i got back, why did you quit racing?

I drive a BIG body Monte in Bombers. I'm all for imports/Fiat's/go carts in the bottom division. I am sure the first time one turns sideways right in front of me and I can't stop and hit them broadside they might reconsider their choice.

Now lets hear from you anti "traditional V8 American made" race cars that I should just go away.

Oh, and to the guy who says you can build a SAFE race car for $500. Where do you buy your crack?

The game here is to find ways to prevent people to spend 5//10G on a cluncker class car.

The intend of those classes is to have people come and race with 500$ or less cars, so if they pay you back your investment, nothing to bitch about and it make a show.. remember a show for the fans!!!!!

No one is anti-big car. You show up and race your 116" Monte, but you follow the rules and help to make an interesting event. In fact, I think the mix of big and small cars is interesting and more fun to watch.

We are not anti-big car. There are a few posters on this thread who are anti-small car, and that is what I can't figure out. It just doesn't make sense in 2014.

You tell me in this post where I say anything against big cars or small cars?
Dis moi dans cet énoncé où je dénigre les grosse voitures américaines ou les petites?

Come on man, Big cars with big V8's are not hard to find. I found one on craigslist for $800. I put a cage in it and ran it. Sure the engine blew up so I put a cheap crate motor in it and made it into a race car. You know the car.

It's just easier to go get a shitty import from the junkyard, come out and race. All I want is a bigger car count. If someone wants to race a 2000 pound car with a cage welded (screwed) into cheap steel then someday they may regret that. I bought and made a safe BIG car for two reasons. One obviously is safety. I have crashed a few planes and safety is number one for me. Secondly, I wanted to keep alive the BIG AMERICAN tradition.

What do the fans want? Big car counts and good racing. WE CAN do that with BIG V8's and dozens of imports all in the same race.

                    That's all.

I enjoyed the hell out of racing with the bigger cars. Looking forward to running OSW and NSS with my Toyota.
....and yes, I'd much rather run a big iron v8. To me though, the only way to keep circle track racing alive is to change with the times. The young folks like the goofy imports. It's time we started catering to them.
See ya at the track !!!!

If they are lucky, yours wont be one of them.....

The Toyota company taught me in a seminar, to "identify, and fire bad customers"

Dude.... they are soooooo much better off without you. When someone causes nothing but aggravation and grief, they need to be pointed towards your worst competitor.
