I can't imagine anyone forgetting those two. Not as big a train wrecks as they've both been over the last few years. But given time, i'd say Desoto is gonna leave both of them far behind.

matt I dont think desoto is going to leave New smyrna behind. NSS has a nascar points payout along with regluar track points payout. better insurance new lights a great racing surface etc. Now osw a gokart track could leave them behind that track has a long road ahead.

I've got no puppy in that fight, but it appears there are 16 different combinations of possible legal weights for the street stocks. That seems like a big pain in the tail for whomever is doing the tech.

There's some rule changes for Sportsman too. Check them out. I like them, makes Desoto's rules more like all of the other tracks. Great idea to draw more cars!

You know something?... I would have thought there would be some word from Desota regarding the rumors I mentioned above... re: Tech is gonna be on target from now on and NO MORE QUALIFYING... both these items got a lot of good response from others (as you can see above)...you would think Jimmy or Criter would have put out some word so we know what to expect regarding these two "Most Serious" topics...... it sure would help out so people would know what to expect in the next season....who's with me on this "Request ?"...... Street Stocks

Wow what a big mistake combining the two classes. Way to far apart in cars and will cost to much money for the bombers to change to try and compete. What the hell are they thinking. Well that should send all the bombers back to the south and leave what street stocks that were thinking about coming to Desoto from Showtime at Showtime. Dumb move Desoto.

The rules have been pulled from the website and they have a driver's meeting planned to address people's concerns. I'd wait and see what happens after the meeting before I would condemn them, Lucky6.
