              • Just a quick photo here... Taken in the garage prior to the 1978 Southern 500 at Darlington...

Collectively, these three drivers started 688 NASCAR Cup races and never scored a victory but they were great characters who made NASCAR what it was in their day...

Frank Warren, Joe Frasson and Dick May...

                  • Here's a couple more....

1 - When Junior Johnson won his first race as a car owner, who was the driver and what year was it?
2 - Who was the first stock car driver to be pictured on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine and what year was it?

                    • For some reason, I'm thinking Fred Lorenzen in '65. That was the year he became the first driver to win over $100,000 in a season.

                        1) Junior Johnson himself, 1965 Daytona qualifier #2

                        2) Curtis Turner Feb 26,1968 issue
                        Doug Wachtel

You are actually right on both of them... Junior did win some races when he drove his own car... but... who was the first driver to win a race in Junior's car who was actually hired by Junior to drive the car?
