Word is the track was sold to owners of the Lakeland Drag and Mud bogs tracks. Butch & Barbara will remain to run the track, work has already begun to fix the ramp to track, fencing and others things. I am sure more will be out this week.

I heard that it was only leased to them. At least that was what i was told that was said at the banquet last night. Anyone know for sure?

If it was just leased, why is he going to sink a bunch of money into it? It will take a loooong time to re-coup any investment only to lose it at the end of the lease. Just wait about 30 days and the county will have it on the web after they file if it is sold. Public record.

Isn't that the point of a message board - to post information? If the track cared about it being accurate - they would have done something themselves instead of leaving room for speculation.

He cant help it if the employees of the track are misinformed or underinformed by their own management.
