Whack, Whack, Whack,Whack, Thud! That was the sound of me beating my head against the wall and falling to the floor! If you start at the original post on this subject and read your way through you will understand the state of this board!
When the format was changed I had to change my screen name and password and it was a nightmare to get registered. Once that was accomplished I tried posting and nothing happened. I asked the moderator and was told as soon as I posted something positive they would post it. I gave up and just occasionally have even logged on here for several months.
Frasson asked an honest question and I tried to give an honest answer. It was the new board at first that was the problem but it is now the censorship! Joe was right when he mentioned the no flames policy whatever that is.
Mocha 2 was right about posts being removed or not seeing the light of day!
Then you have Miss Wicks saying we need to change the subject. Ancrdave saying this needs to be the end of it! What is wrong with keeping a subject going that has generated this much interest? Don't read it or participate in it if you want it to end.
This is a problem in itself, when you have people like this wanting to end something because they personally don't agree with it or it makes them uncomfortable.

hi... i really don't care if the thread goes on til infinity if something good comes of it. it seemed as tho we all said as much as could be said about the subject. ;-) no one wants this board to be the most popular place to post as much as i do. i just hate when people start talking down to each other. we are all nice people and we can resolve our problems without being cruel. there ARE problems at times but the moderators and owner are really trying to bring back the fold...;-). you know as well as i do they can never please everyone.
i dont believe in censorship either UNLESS there is character assassinating. that is NOT acceptable nor is it necessary. believe it or not, it can cause some real serious problems in peoples lives.
my son who lives in colorado and has never been to a race was doing a project for me. i mistakenly told him to go to this site and forgot to give him the url. he googled my name and some stuff came up on the old KARNAC board that happened many many years ago. some people had written horrid things about me and my son wanted to come down here and beat the crap out of them. he was angry and embarrassed. that is one of the reasons they are keeping a better eye on this board. it gets out of control if it isnt moderated. (censored?)

I'm back used to go by turnleft have relocated to MI. Haven't seen any races up here yet but M-40 speedway has some Modifieds next Fri nite. I miss going to Citrus. It took 3 weeks+ between registration and actually getting a confirmation to be able to post. Peace out folks, hope all is well in Dixie.Risin gas prices, the incident at Richmond, if the word Bush, no matter how it's spelled ,comes up, be wary, but if the fine wife or g/f bring it up you may want to try and qualify in race trim.

hah, Thunder Valley? they're pretty good. that wall around the inside really makes the track tight. i used to vacation at the YMCA camp on Lake Corey every Memorial and Labor day.

if you're up for a little drive, New Paris Indiana and Kalamazoo are also really good paved tracks. only went to Butler once for an Enduro so i'm not sure how their regular dirt show is.

if you're up for lotta drive, Slinger Wisconsin is the best show i've ever seen. but for you that would be 4 1/2 hours, easy.

Hold it now... Now you are getting back into my old racing grounds.. Wisconsin... I have to admit.. I always enjoyed Slinger... Used to do alot of Racing in Wisconsin, a little in MN, Illinois, and Ohio... And as much as I hate to admit it.. I raced in Michigan too.... LOL.... Have a great day all....

Called a friend of mine and he informed me that my @#!$ Ex just sold my old set up... cars, trailers, truck, and everything else else completely set up for Not enough money.. Doom on her for being goofy and me for not selling it for $1.00 to someone at least until after the divorce was finalized... Boo hoo....

how do you get all the way to high in the middle and round on both ends and not hit anything in Indiana?

yeah, if we're up there for July 4th we usually make the 9 hr round trip for that Sundays show. never been dissappointed yet.

Let's see if my memory serves me right... Hmmm I grew up in Wisconsin, both west and East parts... So... The drive wasn't bad... Now The Ex and I lived in Michigan both Northern and Southern... Hmmm Come to think about it.. Maybe I might have stepped my little virgin toes in Indiana once... Hmm is that where I went wrong... I went to Indiana to race.. ROFLMAO... .

PS..... Notice I say Ex and LIVED in MI.. She got a couple of cars in the deeeeeevorce... a Late, a mod, a Super stock, and a strictly with a maybe not quite so legal engine.. LMAO..


Naw.. Not me.. I would never put a souped up engine in a Strictly stock....

Finally got out to a northern track, Kalamazoo Speedway. I never did care much for the gimmick stuff but it was a decent show. A couple monster trucks , a jet truck,some school bus racing, oval fan participation. The guy on his roof in the one pic hit a ramp at the finish line and ended up on his roof in turn 1, he must have rolled about 8 times, it was brutal. The best part was if you bought a $15 ticket to this event you come back next week for free.

yeah, K-zoo is pretty good too. PO's me that they got rid of the v8 cars for the enduros though.
