Why is this place a cemetary?

I have been on this board for approx. 5-6 years. The new format is not the problem it is the censorship that is the problem. If you have thin skin then stay off a message board. I believe that their is much more people gone from the censorship than were offended by the so called rude people.
Take O.S.F. for an example, He can get on here and be very suggestive and downright dirty with his comments about women, but that's okay because he is one of the chosen few! Yet he will call Bubba the love Sponges radio show to berate him about how he acts toward women on his show!
Censorship is the root problem on this board and not the new format. Again it's the owners board and he has a right to do what he wants and we have a right not to participate.

but you will be missed by us, the readers... it is your choice tho... are you being thin skinned? ;-) ... its like going to a huge hall with 500 people sitting there to answer questions. There will be alot of different answers. things get interpreted differently, people feel different about things, sometimes people don't understand but answer anyways. sometimes people don't answer and they probably DO have an answer...lol ya just have to take the good with the bad. dont give in...keep on truckin! I do! this is our message board and im not letting anyone run me off... i do get tired of it sometimes and i lay low for awhile but im never GONE! dont you be gone either. ;-)

And you know I can take it as well as the next guy and dish it out too, but a lot of it isn't. Then you got people that hide behind thier screen name like "Winger" that take it over the top and start sending nasty PM's because they don't like my opinion. That is taking it to far. The man has never even met me but from his PM's he already has an opinion of me. Myself, I won't form an opinion of a person until I meet them in person. You can't tell anything about a person by what they type on the internet.

Who's bashing who here? I sent you one PM trying to keep the nastiness off the board. I signed it with my complete name, not my screen name. The funny thing is, you have met me in person and you didn't know it. There was no formal introduction. It was a positive meeting in an everyday situation, but that's neither here not there. Unfortunately, I have formed an opinion of you because of your comments on the message boards. My opinion of you has changed since I met you in person a couple years ago. I honestly don't know why you have this reaction to me. I have a copy of the PM I sent you and I will post it here if you would like me to. Just give me the ok.

Not wanting to start a pissin contest here, but need to SPLAIN sumtin.
I do not attempt to discredit or insult women as stated (click on my name in blue above and read all my post and see for yourself), but I DO TEASE one certain LADY that I am very comfortable with. She is not offended and quite capable of handling the smack and throws it back at me. We have been friends for years and NOTHING can or will come between us ever (damn it) (oops, there I go again). I left the board for a very long time because of the way one idiot called her a bunch of names (unmanly as he was), this happened back when we had a live message board we all met on at night. Now that was some real fun too.
Just another fact here... I have NEVER called the Bubba show to speak about the way he interacts (or just acts) with women... that might just be part of his show... not my business. But I dd call his show about his treatment towards people (mostly kids) that stand in line for his autograph where-in he carries on a conversation with his buddies while signing autographs UNLESS the person in line buys one of his nasty CD's. I have seen him at numerous track do this and I called him on it. I also said he was an idiot that can't speak/spell correctly. I never mentioned the word women to him. (SORRY)
Again, not starting a pissin contest with the writer of the above post as that would be like shooting at ants with an elephant gun. One sentence in that post doesn't even read correctly - whats up wid dat?

OSF - who will continue teasing those that I am comfortable with (both Male and Female) ... the rest of the world can go piss on themselves if they are "THINNED SKIN" as it won't be addressed to them in the first place)

ok... this is probably the longest thread ever on this site. we have aired our feelings and i think have a little better understanding. lets all try to get along and have some fun talking about racing. with 14 tracks in florida and thousands of racers, there has to be SOMETHING going on...lol ;-)

Hi OSF, miss you. Would you believe Alex is 15 now. He raced a few weeks ago in the Strictly Stock class and came in 6th. Rusty made me close the office, lock it up, and watch. Talk about a nervous cat, that was me. I know he can race but I never said I could watch without constantly pacing the ground. Someday hopefully you can see him race, I know he would love that.

I will be going to Fountain, Colorado in May for my newest grandson to be born. His name will be Nathan and he is Kimber and Michael's baby boy. Only bad thing, Michael will leave soon after for Iraq and won't get to see alot of his new son. But I am looking forward to the trip and his arrival.

i dont think i know dizzy, but i do know linda and its great news knowing she will be back!!!!! all of our old friends need to come back and liven up this joint! rofllllllllll linda has been around racing ever since i can remember and has alot of knowledge to share. she is a no nonsense woman so watch out! hahahaha (well maybe some nonsense)

I would say the majority of those post are from the same 15-20 people. Plus, this use to be the only game in town. Now you have Florida Flag Stand. Seems to me that the people over there seem to lean more toward dirt and asphalt over here. Right now, asphalt is dieing if not already dead, and dirt is prospering. It always seems to go in about a 10-15 year cycle.
On the issue with this board, I did like the old format better, but like everything else, we must except change! I do miss reading all the posts from everybody and reading all the pissing matches. It was great, but also, it wasn't directed towards me. It seems that alot of people left when the new board started. I'm sure they didn't leave then because they were tired of being belittled. People don't like change and I am one of them. I do think that with time they will come back. If nothing else, new people will come along!! They always do. TRUST ME.
