I even told them it was ok if they kept it annoymous, (i KNOW I misspelled that and I don't care!!), but they made a big deal out of it, which I did appreciate, and yes I think I got in free. But what I might be willing to do is pay the way in for some guys kid, that could be my way of contributing to the sport. ESPECIALLY if he wore one of my shirts!! LOL Thank you Rick!
No problem Don have a good weekend.

Here's a flyer from my home track in Ohio. Look at the payout for the late models. Don't know why we can't do something like this in Florida. When I raced there they only had 3- classes late models, hobby stocks, & mini stocks now they have 4- late models, OWM, sport stocks, & crazy compacts. Funny I dont see any entry fee required either.

When I was a teenager, and thats longer than I want to think about!! It was dirt, 3 divisions. Class A,B,C A's similar to mods, B's 6 cyl coups, C's street stocks. Back then mostly 57 chevy. Had great crowds. Its paved now, wife and I were there a couple yrs ago, 40 some yrs later. They were racing Fri AND sat nights. Probably half the total seats of NSS, which is a LOT! 1/2 to 3/4 full, 4-5 GOOD races, out of there 9-10 pm. Wish it could be here. From checkers to green not over 10 mins max.

Oh, sorry, talking about Scarboro Maine, anyone been there?? Its where Steve Leavitt, and Steve Letarte, Earnharts crew chief got their start. Steve worked for Yates and now has his own fab shop in the Carolinas. I went to school with Letarts mother and Steves wife. Great people.
