I think we've tried for, oh, about the last five or ten years, Bobby, and no one (track promoters and owners) don't want to listen to what the fans - or drivers - want.

I've made several suggestions, I know Rex has, Carol, yourself....*sigh*....just don't know what can be done down there.

I raced a desoto last year a few times and often wondered how they were keeping the place open. my crew counted 50 or so fans more than once. terrible car counts . The race track is awesome. except for the ( bump ) in three. I had an idea for desoto to get the attention of fans but think it may take a pretty big investment that they probably couldnt afford but. I have no clue of the price of billboards but a desoto billboard on 75 before the exit shure would be seen by thousands of people every day. just a thought. anyone know what that would cost ?

First thing. Quit using BIG RED letters when posting. That means you are screaming/yelling at everyone that reads it. Second thing. Not gonna change, but the nite NASCRAP races haven't helped. Third, The cost to run a car today (just in fuel alone). But that's my own opinion. Did anyone noticed all the empty seats today?

Anyways, I have a sportsman and would be willing to take it to Desoto. I have never been there to race, always has a fan. Anybody know when they will run sportsmans?

I know the racing was better when Nerone was @ NSS. Maybe just coincidence I dont know. But now that I think back the complaining was about the same. Can someone pls explain why the superstocks always used take-off tires before and now they but them? Just courious.

OK here is a thought....
What if you turned the Super Stock/Street Stock or what ever into the top class...used a national set of rules....stuck by them and ran the Mods, Lates and Super LAtes..and Sprints on special events???

You could take the purse for the Super Stock and make it what the purse is for a LM now..what would happen??? ...the purse for a regular race... Keep the cars under 10 grand and see what happens!

Might work. I know at NSS USUALLY the strictly stocks and super stock put on the best show. Just dont try combining them!!
