if you were a scout for NASCAR and had to pick ONE driver from all of our florida SLM drivers...who would you pick as a promising driver?

I'd pick Jack Duffy or Freddie Stutz. They have each raced for nearly 60 years and are still active in the midgets. At this stage in life, they would not be scared of anything and could always be counted on to speak their mind; I marked change from the no-talent, sponsor spouting robots that fill the cup series now.
Jeff Choquette, been watching him win for a long time even back when he was running JR mini stocks @ thundercross when he was 14 years of age W.P.B. GANG!!
although i love jack duffy to death and i agree he is amazing at his age.... he would not make it to NASCAR being about 76 years old!... im asking who in the SLM class would be a choice to drive a SPRINT CUP car...isnt that the new name replacing Nextel? i didnt mean anything to do with sprint car racing. the reason i chose this class this time is because a SLM driver would be most likely. (i think)
so far Jeff Choquette is the favorite choice.

I'd be right there with all of you but didn't he all ready get passed over by the Roush Gong Show? I mean if he couldn't cut it on one of those well intentioned, above the board, talent-rewarding, non-profit driven competitions like that.....then how good could he possibly be?
You don't think that maybe those competitions are influenced by anything other than raw talent and seat of the pants skill do you?
Gosh, I'd hate to have my faith in NASCAR and it's elite owners corp shaken like that...........
Actually....my pick would be a 13 year old 7th grader. With a filthy rich daddy, of course.
Now before you say "OJ....are you crazy, man?" I would have to stipulate that he needs at LEAST a half year in a super competitive go-cart club that has a minimum of 5 or 6 carts in every monthly world championship event. He doesn't have to win....just a podium finish or two will be fine. He also has to display a superior mastery of NASCAR PSII or XBOX with minimal crashing of the simcar.
Unless of course we're talking about a daddy who is STINKING, filthy rich.......cuz then well....heck.......
Roush made a HUGE mistake! ;-) actually there were racers from all over and some were Great! just getting picked for the Roush (Gong) show was an honor only bestowed to some of the best around.
i dont think Jeff should ever give up trying just because he had one failure. id rather see him with Gibbs anyways. lol
now go easy on me OJ...
