i have been reading posts on here for many years and all i hear about is the good old days... rofllll now you are saying we should get with the times. well getting with the times didnt do a single thing for racing. it isnt near as fun. oh and im not really 70... im a beaten up weathered 49! im really 68.4... close enough...and who cares who can spell and who cant. all that matters is what they say...

I think your missing the point Carol. What I mean is with the way things are in this world today it's hard enough to survive without everyone having a me me me attitude. These track operators and promoters need to make sure they don't schedule over each other so everyone can benefit,work together, the mentality has and always will be the same as far as asphlalt late models in Florida. It's not like it was back in the 80's when it didn't matter because there were enough late models to go round, even Don will agree with that.
Why do you think 90% close for the saturday night Daytona race? They know they won't have a crowd. I wouldn't mind seeing both but if I have to choose it'll be the Gov's Cup. I don't really care how old you are, it was just a jab and that's it, I've actually met you before and your a pretty nice lady. Yes I wish it were like the old days as much as anyone else here but we all know those days will forever be gone, so with that said we need to look at ways to change to make all this work.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wishing all a Happy New Year. Just want to clear some things up about the Governors Cup Race. Since the Governors cup race is scheduled for Nov 18 & 19 we at Punta Gorda Speedway will by all means change our date. We in no way would want to interfere with the tradition that has been established for that event. When we posted our schedule there were no dates yet established for the Governors cup. We at PGS will never assume anything.

But you have to remember. She just can't help it.

It is a sickness and there are programs out there to support and assist these poor souls who are overcome by the irrational belief that they just have to post their quixotic and capricious thoughts about every single thread that gets posted.
I, for one, hope that someday she seeks out one or more of these programs and can be cured of this nerve-grating, wanna-throw-her-computer-in-the-Peace River condition.


But as always, I'm learning to live with the disappointment.

Wait a minute if Auburndale is part of the "The Track Alliance" and so is FASCAR then why does Auburndale have Late Models scheduled on the same night as the Gov' Cup. And some were jumping on PGS and there not even part of this deal.
