Invert This!!!

Being only a fan and not a racer I wish the field would invert all the time to me there is nothing more boring than watching the fast cars start in the front. I do have a question though, What difference does it make if you have to pass the slow car for the lead or lap him? I agree with Jerry grow some and race and quit whining. If you didn't build the car to compete what do you have it for?

Thanks for being a fan. the lapped cars yield to the fast cars. When i say this guy didn't belong I mean it!! no talent at all

He definately has a motor!! but thats as far as it goes. He has no talent, if hes been running there for as long as you say, maybe its time to hang it up!

yes we are coming back. he doesn't belong on the front row no talent. theres one less showing because the car is fubar!!! when we get her back in shape we will definately be back

its hard to drive under someone when you have to do it on the bandelero track down the straight shoot! you cant make the corner when you enter it from the band. track! simple physics

My 2 cents would be u have too much money wrapped up in the car for a Pure stock.If u would have said Damm i worked my axx off for weeks then it got destroyed by sum rookie caus he started on the front row because the inversion,would sound a lott better...after all these arent latemdels.....

If he was that far down low on the track, why didn't you just back off the gas, cross up to the high side, and go around him up top? As a fan, I'd rather watch somebody with what they say is a great car run up top and work the high side, than run everyone up off the bottom groove.

And if he was pushing as bad as some say he was, why not let him get into the corner first, over-drive it and push up the race track, and then drive under him? From what I understand, this was on the *second lap* of a 50-lapper? No patience?

Rob you're a nice guy and yes, a good racer. I wasnt there so thats why I ask. It sounded like you said this happened after 3 laps of you using patience, was it on the 3rd or 4th lap it happened or 3-4 laps after you caught him? Rob, here's a chance for you to bash me if you want, i don't care. But like I said, I gave you credit, you're a good driver, but I have seen you lack patience, big time. One night at NSS on lap 2, turn 2 I told my wife and brother "Watch the 3 run over that car in front of him. You did, turn 3 on that very same lap. Lap 2!! You both were towards the front, Rob, thats not patience, you need to learn to be more patient. I mentioned this to one of the posters in this thread at the time and he said, "Yes he did but we were all glad he did that to the guy he did it to." So to some it seems it matters who its doing it to whom. Calm down Rob, repair your car and be a little more patient, oh, calm that temper, it does you no good, look at your car. I know you were racing for big money, right?? If you had been junk would you of rolled over and played dead like you wanted him to???

Sportsman, super stock, super late or pinewood derby---doesn't matter the class. There is always somebody who is too new to the class, spends enough money they figure they deserve to start up front or they've been around long enough, or whatever.

Point is, sooner or later you will get crashed by somebody who made a mistake, didn't see you, tried to race over his head. It happens, just like flat tires, broken parts and even bad calls on the drivers part. I've fixed more than my share of cars that were the other guy's fault, but you never saw us fighting or threatening people or crying. IT HAPPENS! Fix it, come back, and prove who is the better racer and the bigger MAN!

rob thanks to you i have finally registered for this board have been reading it for years just never post i think drivers like you are why the stands are empty i would rather wreck a good car passing one than start on the pole and win the race i have been the fast qualifier at nss and drew a 0 then have to argue with the women in the pit office because i refuse to start on the pole rather crash passing cars or if you are good at it you could win from the back

I felt like i was being plenty patient. Its been a week now and ive been getting calls the past three days from people in the pits saying they saw his wheel turn hard right then drive me in the fence. It sure wasnt a rub i can deal with 8 tires are better than 4. my left side door was peeled open like a sardine can! thats not rubbin

seriously donny, sounds like you have an idea. I see both sides of the story. The guy damn near wiped out the eventual race winner right in front of me, then proceeded to take me into the wall. Emotions are at a very high level when you take pride in what you do and accomplish, for some p.o.s. to wipe out an awesome racecar becuase they wanted to put on a show to me is stupid. Ive won many races from the back when we drew pills. In this case its time trials, you deserve to start from where you qualified! He knew they were going to invert and putted around the track like a wounded duck. He drove completely over his head for what i dont know.
