Thought the same thing. Notice how he didn't get what he thought he was gonna get for it, so he made something up totally outrageous? Why would the wife bid $1000 when the highest bid was $660? The guy was probably thinking you were saying that because you didn't get what you wanted so he offered a little more. My point of view is, don't say its a no reserve auction if you are gonna do that. Give it to us straight.
