OK…here is the chance to get a great car at a great price. I will be showing this car for the next two weeks and during that time I will be taking offers on the car. The person with the highest offer will get the car. Now about the car!
PRO’s…Car is very well built. Body and frame have never been raced. Engine is a 1.5 SOHC with a factory header on it, so it is legal on all tracks. Motor is strong and ran great at PGS getting in the winner’s circle both times it was raced there. Cage is great for anyone. Built by Billy Carlbert from B&E Auto. No corners cut and car will be safe for an adult and a kid. Has quick adjust seat in it, size 18, so seat can be moved in less than a minute to fit a 6 foot driver to a 4 foot driver, so car can be used in an adult class and a kid’s class in the same night. It has a cam-lock five point belt and right side head support. Quick disconnect wheel. Battery mounts in side of car. Stock fuel tank. Lexan windshield. Master power switches with fan and start button. 4 speed manual. Disk brakes all the way around. Car will handle and be very fast when Sunshine/Showtime Speedway opens back up. Painted red now but could use some touch up. Nothing else on outside of car.
CONS….Car starts up but does not come with battery. No air cleaner on car to date, but has not been ran without one on a track. There is an electrical issue that I cannot fix, but if you know car electrics then I am sure you can fix. Car will start up and idle and will get up to about 2500 RPM and then start to cut out. Could be as simple as a filter. Windshield, dash (not original…replaced with sheet metal), and a few other things all minor need some pop-rivets put in. Car has 4 13x8 inch rims with Hoosier tires on them, but have non-bent set of 14 inch rims to put on car. Tires on stock rims are pretty worn so new ones will need to be placed on car before it is raced, unless you race at Showtime were I hear they will be using racing tires.
Car will be good on asphalt or dirt, you decide.
Other than that you will need to call post or come by to see or ask any questions. As stated car will be on Karnac for two weeks, they highest bidder will take car. Questions feel free to call Brad @ 727-726-1184. Thanks for looking. These are current pics as of today.
