the show would have been sucessfull if they showed more racing . 55 min of yap-yap and commercials and maybe 5 min of poorly shot race clips .Comment

I disagree. For me, the racing is a joke. WWE on wheels and that ain't my cup of tea. I never raced like that and if I would have had to put up with idiots like that every week I would have quit and gone someplace else to race! That show furthered every idiotic stereotype of local racing and probably HURT the sport far more than it ever helped it. GOOD RIDDENCE! I quit watching it after week 2.Comment

57 minutes of bull shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and 2minutes of some one running into the back of some one and the worst part about the whole show is there ain't but one guy that has a garage that can work on there car
and he works on ever bodys car

I don't think you have watched the show. Every one of the main characters have their own race shop. Too me it is one of the best reality racing shows I have ever seen. Why do people worry so much about being stereotyped anyway? The best show on television in my opinion. It showed the behind the scenes lives of saturday night racers. It has a host of personalitites that can be found at any track in the state. Im sure we all know a Junior Miller, Burt Myers, and Tim Brown.
I will voice my displeasure with the history channel.
I will also be making a trip to Winston-Salem, NC this summer to watch these guys race.Comment

Hey James, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Too many people expect it to be just a racing show. In reality its a show about a racers life that shows the sacrifices the racers and their families go through. I started watching it with very low expectations but now I dvr every episode.Comment

i guess i should have explained my self better
what i meant was i know they all got a place they keep there car ..
but they have to go get whats his name to come to there place to help fix ther motors or heads and he works on all there cars looks like some one would know how to build an engine
or at least put set heads on car took burt meyers 3 weeks to get his rear end problem fixed and daddy had show him how to put it together
jr miller ran same valve springs 3 years no wonder he has to hit them to pass
