That show furthered every idiotic stereotype of local racing and probably HURT the sport far more than it ever helped it. GOOD RIDDENCE! I quit watching it after week 2.

The best show on television in my opinion. It showed the behind the scenes lives of saturday night racers. It has a host of personalitites that can be found at any track in the state. Im sure we all know a Junior Miller, Burt Myers, and Tim Brown.
I will voice my displeasure with the history channel.
I will also be making a trip to Winston-Salem, NC this summer to watch these guys race.

Hey James, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Too many people expect it to be just a racing show. In reality its a show about a racers life that shows the sacrifices the racers and their families go through. I started watching it with very low expectations but now I dvr every episode.

i guess i should have explained my self better
what i meant was i know they all got a place they keep there car ..
but they have to go get whats his name to come to there place to help fix ther motors or heads and he works on all there cars looks like some one would know how to build an engine
or at least put set heads on car took burt meyers 3 weeks to get his rear end problem fixed and daddy had show him how to put it together
jr miller ran same valve springs 3 years no wonder he has to hit them to pass
