Not great news...

Jack has been diagnosed with bone cancer. He has to see an oncologist but before anything can be done, he has to heal from this surgery. They will do a complete scan to see exactly where the cancer is and he will most likely go through radiation treatments.
PLEASE do not call. His wife is working hard with staff to keep him moving and they are exhausted and busy. I will keep you informed and let you know when he can accept calls etc.

Bone cancer is not good. Any type of cancer is not good. But atleast they know now and commence on a program that will make him well.......GOOD LUCK JACK !!!!!!!! My thoughts are with you.....

My thoughts and prayers continue for Jack and his family. I have asked others I know outside the racing community to remember them in their prayers too.

I owe an awful lot to Jack. I moved to Florida back in 2003 from New England where I was a well known auto racing media personality. I wanted to continue doing media coverage of racing in Florida. It was tough as I was an unknown down here. In short it was Jack who gave me that opportunity to get known, letting me come aboard Karnac as a staff writer and web editor of Southern Short Track News.

I took a year off from Karnac this past year so I was totally out of the loop. Rick Anges recently sent me a message about Jack's health. I was shattered at the news.

I join all of you in praying that Jack is able to fully recover and that the pain he is going through becomes manageable. Jack, I know you know the Lord and never forget that he loves you and is there for you. I pray for all the surgeons, doctors, and nurses that God will direct them so as to assure the best possible care for Jack. I pray that God gives Jack's family strength through these difficult times.
