All the way back in 1981, Nashville Speedway, the All American 400, North VS. South annual race.
He was the colorful "whip" on the air, his voice was so well and known, even to this day.
Almost 30 years ago, he was the voice of the Series, and his always present, All-Pro Bull; doing sidekick anticts and such.
That was back when ASA and All-Pro (the real ASA and All-Pro), and ARTGO were the true N. vs S. series, save for the series from Canada, the CanAm series at the time. (it wasn't called that, but something really similar).
