After all the safety articles he's put into Stock Car Racing Magazine, I wonder if Dr. Dick Berggren looks back at this early ride, and thinks "I'm lucky I didn't get killed in that thing".

It was actually very fast and he won quite a few races with it.

Taken straight off of the Reunion Web site:

"Action on Feb. 12 will feature the "Richie Evans Memorial 100" for the NASCAR tour modifieds.
It is also night #12 of the 44'th annual World Series of Stock Car Racing."

Shouldn't that be "Night #8", not "Night #12", since the World Series is only nine nights to begin with, and Friday's date is the next to last?

Dave Boon, from Ottawa, ONT is a name I'm not familiar with... but for good reason.... he races from 1949 - 1952, a full 10 years before I was even born!

Joe Baldwin, from PA has been to both previous Reunions

Jackie Soper, who once won 5 Track Championships in the same year. He was a true full-time racer, and was some kinda badass in his day.

Also looks like John Smith will be making it, and debuting a Maynard Troyer Falcon. I can't wait to see this one!
