Nancy,, I just saw this, and want you also to know that my heart goes out to you. Richard was one of the nicest man you would ever want to meet.
He would give you the shirt off his back. I know you both very well from the Desoto days back in the early 90's. So many late nights in the garage we would spend all together. We will miss him so much. And if there is anything i can do call me. 813-997-1133 Daytime is the best for me.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you & the family. We can't make it to desoto
the 14th due to our race down south at CCMP..But we will be thinking of you.
Even thou it is a better place, i am sure you would rather still have him home.
Thank you Susan. Yes, I remember those good old days...so sorry you can't come. We are having a Service from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to bad you couldn't stop on your way to the races. Do understand and hope to see you all soon! It still seems so unbelievable and he was to young to have been thru all this..cancer is a terrible thing. His shop is the hardest place to go, as he spent so much time there and his race car projects are as if he was just there working on them. John and Camille and everyone involved with the track have been very kind and gracious. Just can't believe all that is being done on Richard's behalf. He had way more friends than I think he ever realized. Take care of your Richard!
