I'm not gonna get into this. I will say that atleast Scott had the balls to come out and protest. Thats a lot better than the guys that cry to butch and the tech officials and stay anonymous

and the context was ..... ?
that he was saying that the rules should be applied the same to all drivers regardless of age?
he never implied that younguns or olduns should be let off because of their age, he said exactly the opposite.
So go suck one!!!
do you have major behavioral issues, or what?
Then everything should be fine and people will forgive us.
after they take their punishment? sure, why not?
it's not like he killed somebody or something.
also, maybe you missed this bit:
"is a Scat cast stock replacement crank"
considering that FASCAR allows aftermarket World Product heads, by the rule book, i can see how someone might jump to the conclusion that aftermarket "stock" replacement stuff is allowed.
Even though your still a scumbag.
thank you, thank you very much.
your opinion means everything too me. just not in the way that you were hoping.
ps - the word you're looking for is "you're". a contraction of "you are".Racers Supporting Racers - for all your Vero Beach area automotive repair needs:

Why don't you all shut the hell up and let tech do their job. All of you bitching and moaning about this and that in the tech shed just drives me crazy. I like Scott and I think Jon is a great guy but Scott would have been better off to suck it up and come back harder and faster next week.
Lets hope tech can be consistent with EVERYONE in every class.
What was wrong with Jarretts car?
And to Todd Allen, how in the hell was your super stock legal every time out and when Ron owned and drove it he was Dq'd almost every time? Don't say motor either.

I have to agree with Ed... Tech is one of the most important aspects of racing, besides having a place to race at!!! And quite honestly, the rules were being upheld the other night... It isn't about age, it isn't about ability, it IS about the rules... You can like them, you can hate them, but you do have to live with them in racing... Everyone in racing at one time or another has pushed the rules, broken the rules, etc. etc...
My only comment is that I am very happy to see the tech job that was done this weekend was straight forward and equal to all involved... I am quite sure that Scott thought that he was 100% legal when he protested the 211 car... Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't... That is also part of racing...
The only thing that I am amazed at as we stood there and watched the tear down was how some of the parts from the motor out of one of the cars was partially obliterated by a hammer during the process... It was unprofessional and unsportsmanlike as well as a hell of a bad example for the children that were present. I understand that tempers were high; but whether a racer likes it or not, if you get protested, you deal with the situation in a professional manner as the other team did... I do know for a fact, that if they didn't have the proper tools to do the job correctly, they could have have just asked one of us that were present... Racing is a very costly hobby and destroying perfectly good parts is unnecessary.
Have a great day all...
Remember...
Go Fast... Turn Left...
