Sorry if I came across as being more criticial than I meant it to be. I applaud the fact that you are opening the doors once again, and sincerely wish you the best of luck.
I just wish you would re-think the $10 admission price. The economy in that part of the state is always near the bottom of the scale, and to take a family there, like Winger stated, it's just too cost prohibitive. You're better off getting them in the gates for $7.50 for adults, $5.00 for teens, and let them buy their Hamburgs and Cokes from you instead of McDonalds.
I would think that I had a pretty good chance of getting Wingers 6 people (2 adults, 3 teens, and an 11 year old) into the seats for $30.00, instead of hoping they can afford $60.00 to bring the family... and remember, they still have to eat/drink. You'd still get $60 from the Winger family, but can they really afford to give you $60 AND McDonalds another $30?
They are more likely to just stay home in the first place...
Empty seats buy no Hot Dogs, nor do they tell their friends to come with them next time.
