Hodge runs both tracks but up until this year he was spending most of his time at OSW. he was 2nd in points for 2008, i think. so OSW has more of a claim to him than you guys at NSS do.

oh, i was also reminded today how painful it is to crack open the FASCAR rule book.

i was looking through the Super Stock rules when i suddenly realized that probably half of the field at both tracks are "illegal":
"That size cubic inch engine must have been available that year, make and model."

you remember all of those mid-size metric cars that got thrown out of Strictly Stock a couple of years ago because guys were putting 350 Chevys in them? yeah, most of the metric cars in Super Stock didn't have a 350 SBC available for that "year, make and model".

Well I was kinda bored so during practice I passed a couple NSS regulers...while drifting at 60mph threw the turns. I had more people claping and giving me a thumbs up for putting on a pre show in practice

But all of my goofing off came back to bite me when on lap 8 the car started vibrating bad, and I ignored it lol! Me and the 18 was trading 3rd place about 4 times per lap for 15 laps "very clean driver". when my right rear finally came apart there was 2 laps left, I limped it on the rim into a 5th place finish. All in all I had a awsome time win or lose. I wont buy another $25.00 pep boys tire again "JUNK".

William, you and Jerry [Spears #18] definitely deserve praise for the show that you guys put on for that 3rd spot... It was a lot of fun to watch two drivers race each other as well as you two did!

Sounds like it was great weekend for racing. I had some other things going on that were more important but I hope this carries over for the races to come.

Hodge seems like a good racer.. Scott Smith always tries hard, great guy and clean racer... Bobby just doesn't seem to be able to get that new car going this year.. and Mike, well please let's not get into that one this week.. but he is at least out there..
As for the strictly Stocks... It is nice to see the cars from both tracks competing with each other.. Considering that we don't know you or see you at the tracks Al, don't flame the guys who are actually trying to support their local track... Where are you on Fridays and Saturdays.... I know I am either working on a Racecar or at the track... Hey Ed... I guess you can have a free pass for last weekend, it seems as if you had a good enough excuse to miss the racing.. But don't let it happen for at least another 9-10 months... ROFLMAO.... Again congrats...
