The idiotic thing is that he actually makes a decent and sensible position regarding other forms of racing entertainment to get fans out to the tracks....only no one will ever read it or give any credence to his views because of all the immature rantings and self-deprecating remarks about most of the people on the board.

Almost as if he forgets where he lives.

Such a sad, sad story....Florida's loss really. Never to be graced by the sheer showmanship of South Carolina's favorite Legends champion. Definitely our darkest hour. If only we had known.....maybe Karnacians would have been more welcoming and friendly. Maybe then...a tragic turn of events such as this could have been avoided.

LOL I have to chime in here. Oval44 I have no idea who you are. But sometimes it is better to remain silent then to open mouth and remove all doubt. LEGENDS? The only, and I repeat ONLY place the are popular is in the Carolina"s. INEX does have alot of members. In Ohio there are alot of legend cars. No one wants to see them race here anymore tho. And if you put on a big legend show against a late model show? Late models will take the fans. I'm not cutting on legends. Alot of talented drivers drive legends. And alot of young guns start in legends. And they bring there whole family. As for 5,000 at Lowes. You ever think alot of people are passing through and wanted to see some kind of race at the legendary track? To the Shady Bowl mod racer. You have good points in your post. Only thing is in the heat race. If you qaulify do a stagered invert for heat and top four in heat get time back for feature. The rest of field has to start on time behind top 4 in heats. Stops some of the sand bagging.

the legends are becoming pretty popular at CCMP. they have a fairly good car count and they are very competitive... my ears are still messed up but its fun watching them...lol

Isnt that what this thread is supposed to be about?
1> We would make more money on tires, but they would last longer.
2> Pit gate admission would be $20
3> No pit slab fees unless a team wants to pay for one for the season.
4> Grandstand admission would be $10, military, senior and children discounts. Children 10 and under free.
5> Grandstands would have a play ground with a qualified attendent supervising.
6> More things for the kids to do so the parents can enjoy the races.
7> Heat races will be worth more points and a little more payouts.
8> We will have actual ministers for the drivers prayer and live local talent sing the National Anthem. Generators will be shut down and drivers will gather on pit road for this.
9> We would start the racing earlier and if there is a rain out on a Sat night, we will race on Sunday afternoons if local areas allow this.
10. No Tech official will have any affiliation with a race shop (PERIOD) This will eliminate any conflict of interest and other bull that goes along with it.
11> Classes will be limited. There is no reason to have 9 classes of cars try to race in one night.
12> Track personel will act and dress professional.
13> Tech will be hard and fair. The rule book is black and white.
14> We will do whatever it takes to make the fields fair and competitive.
15> The facility will remain clean and maintained.
16> The track will be utilized for other events during time when there is not any racing. ie, flea/farmers market, car shows, tent sales for car dealer ships, Bmx, lawn tractor racing, camping, anything to make a few extra dollars to help keep the track open.
17> Racing will start in late Jan and stop in early June. Pick up again in August and stop again in November. There will be a big race or two around July.
18>THIS IS THE BIG ONE, PAY ATTENTION,Sponsorships on everyones racecars will be promoted at the track. This will be a huge key in helping the local racecars with sponsors. We will do our best to network with these sponsors to bring business there way as well.
Our track officials will be proud of the track and do more themselves to promote it. No one race track can be run and promoted by one person. The track shouldnt rely on only the promoter to promote the track. Use the racers and all other avenues possible.

it doesn't have anything to do with what went on on the track, it has to do with him being pissed because i call him out when he lies.

well, ummm, since you've repeatedly slimed everybody in the state of Flori-DUH and now Titusville in particular, i'd have to say that anybody down here can take a shot at you anytime they feel like it. seeing as how you "attacked" first.

at the very least, schedule a bye weekend for each of the 3 or 4 months in the rainy season. maybe even 2 bye weekends in the bad months. that way you've got an obvious reschedule date.

i don't remember running Legends cars down, here on the board. i don't care for Bandolero's but i don't remember saying anything about them either.

the last Legends discussion i was involved in, i'm pretty sure somebody else was complaining about them and i pointed out that without the Legends/Bando's we would have only had ~45 cars in the pits.

so, go to it bee-otch. you come back with the link and the post where i slimed Legends cars/drivers. you might finally get to make me eat crow for once.

i'm not holding my breath.
