Why is it a good thing I live 6 hours away? You dont have the brass to say anything to me in person. You dont even have the brass to reveal who you are on here.

I guess if telling it like it is and not how it might be is whining, then hand over the trophy. I do not care what anyone thinks about me. I do not need validation from an anonymous name on an internet forum. I highly doubt that half the people on this forum with "all the answers" have been half as successful on and off the track as I have, and Im half the age of most.

And at the wishes of the people I will no longer spend a dime on Florida Racing. Charities included. Sorry Rick B.

The only name I answer to is Kevin.

Im not back in the traditional sense. I am here merely to be a thorn in Todd's side.

Moderators please remove my account from this site.
            I hate hypocrites.

wow. only ten days to show us exactly how much you hate yourself. good job Kevo.

course, i did kind of call out that this was going to happen when i pointed out that if you had the balls to back up your words you wouldn't come back and the account being open or closed would be irrelevant.

Once again Todd The Tool spouts off crap of which he has no real racing knowledge.

yep, i've only been around racers, cars and tracks for 35 years now. course, i am a little short on "on track" experience. tell you what, you take this up with Ron ( who has been racing for 35 years ) and tell me if you get a different answer.

Todd proved he was a douche bag to me when I was down there by his bitter complaining that I didnt "give him room" because I did not roll over and play dead when he was behind me.

i guess reading comprehension and logic really is this bad nowadays. i made ONE, count them, ONE remark about having exhausted all passing attempts without contact ( vs your almost all night long commentary on your gay porn internet business ) and that i was going to have to progress to a bump and run. which, every time i've ever heard it talked about, is perfectly legitimate. a little aggressive, but legitimate. "rubbin is racin" and all that, you know.

where, if you had just given the outside on the straight i would have never made contact with you and would never have gotten around you with my car pushing like it was. and i'd have been satisfied with finishing behind you because you gave me a lane and i couldn't do any more with it than that. and we'd have put on a show for the fans ... crazy, i know.

If you are going to play a mans game, then expect to be able to back up the mouth you carry around with you Todd. I doubt you can because you look like the kid that everyone gave swirlies in school.

what? i'm supposed to break down blubbering now? maybe i should make comments about how geeky and weak you look?

            i don't threaten people Kevo.

but i will tell you this: i firmly believe in a right to self defense.

you come on down here and take a swing ( from the front like a real man, please ). we'll see what happens.

i'll bet you wouldn't be half this obnoxious if you had managed to finish in front of me. that must really be eating at you, huh?

I highly doubt that half the people on this forum with "all the answers" have been half as successful on and off the track as I have, and Im half the age of most.

we aren't as "successful" as him so we aren't permitted to speak an opinion that wasn't previously vetted by the almighty Kevo. it's in his copy of the Constitution, you know?

yeah, that last, uh, "accomplishment" you've got on the back of your trailer. the 2007 OSW Winter Series Mini-Stock champ? i'd, uh, be a lot more impressed if i didn't know that consisted of showing up all four weeks when nobody else did. i hope one or two of the rest of your "championships" are a little more substantive than that.

i'm not sure anybody else took Rusty that seriously about using the Winter Series to "pad their resumes" that they actually painted it on something. i guess everybody else just has too much self respect.

Where the strong Alpha Male types pick up a dork, stick their head in the toilet and flush it

or that, you could try that on me. this could get amusing. we'll damn sure sort out the alpha's from the gamma's in a hurry.

And at the wishes of the people I will no longer spend a dime on Florida Racing.

oh darn the luck. he gets all mouthy after he promises "...I will gladly stay the fuck out of florida."

isn't that convenient? yeah, i thought so too.

yo, Kevo, if you really have the cajones you think you've got you could have told me all that stuff to my face. instead of, you know, running away to South Carolina and doing it over the internet.

I will tell you what eats at me. You get on here and belittle anyone with an opinion that disagrees with your opinion. I could care less where I finished. I went down to have a good time. As you know one of those "Florida Experts" on race tracks came to my back yard to run a track and ran it into the ground. I had not posted until you mentioned me in one of your "polls". Therefore I decided to continue to add my .02 until I got under your skin. If anything I get the satisfaction of knowing I wasted enough of your time that you had to go around searching through threads to make your big long winded post.

People including you get on there and bash legends car drivers for racing on friday night. Next time you see legends drivers, shake their hands because I can just about bet you the fact that they are there is a big reason the track is still alive. 10 Legends cars can put on a better show than 25 latemodels. Mostly because in size ratio, you would need a 3/4 mile track to have the same room to race as a legends car on a 3/8 mile track. Second reason is legends drivers typically bring in the same amount of people as latemodel teams, yet they get paid like mini stocks. Therefore adding more to the bottom line more than those 8 super latemodels.

Oh and the thing on the trailer, that was more for a joke. I added that the night before I came down. Its sad when cars from 15 miles away complain about no payout. "Im not starting up my 15,000 mini stock because they are not paying the 200 to win." Where is the logic in that?

The only championships that matter to me are the Legends championships. And yes they had to be earned. In fact I had to run 2 and 3 nights a week to beat drivers from my state at their home tracks to earn the state ones.

I told you by the payout window after you accused me of blocking that you had no right to the position. Anyone that gives a faster car any line, high or low, is a fool.

Oh yeah Todd, shift key at the beginning of the sentence.

Two dorks going at it. I would love to see this cat fight. I deem whoever takes off his shoe first and chases the other one is the winner. Common ground, lets all meet in Ga somewhere.

1.Sounds to me like you just have a grudge about your track closing. If your jealous of Florida (I would be too if I live in Beaufort or anywhere in S.C.) then move.
2.10 legends putting on a better show then 25 late models? I dont think so maybe in South Carolina but not here.
3.Congrats on your legends championship. How long ago?

You live in Titusville. I don't think I need to say anything else. i have seen the people there. Not many family trees in that town and most go straight up with no branches.

Yeah your right, I guess the over 5 thousand people each week that watch the summer shootout at lowes in the grandstands feel that way too. When is the last time you saw 5 thousand people at any track with latemodels as the premier division on asphalt.

I have championships at Hardeeville in 2001 (fall shootout) and 2002 (entire season).

My state titles came in 2002 and 2004. 2004 was the last year I ran a full season of anything. 35 to 40 races a year when you do everything your self can burn you out.

Uh I don't know how much you really know about Beaufort, seeing as how you went through Parris Island the brainwashing you received there probably scarred you for good, most of the population here is made up of military, which do not stay long, and retirees. I'd venture to say that less than 30% of the population is natives.

Meanwhile, our property values are still holding steady, and actually increasing even in the current market situation, construction is still happening and people are still trying to move here. Meanwhile in Florida, where development is stagnant, Im on my way to put in a counter offer to Publix who wants some land I'm a partner on.

Went with a friend to Concord Motorsports park this year for a legends race on the 1/4 mile behind the half mile. There were close to a thousand people were on hand in the stands to watch only legends cars and bandoleros, where no division had more than 15 cars, some as few 4.

Now build a Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, Epcot, Mgm Studios, Wet and Wild and an Islands of Adventure just to name a few with in 50 miles of the track and tell me how many people show up.
I like the legend cars and would love to drive one but over the last few years they have not put on a very good show at Osw.

Perhaps being at Paris Island did brain wash me some but since, I have been in several parts of South Carolina and most places I was the minority. It was like being in the bronx, but at least in the bronx I could understand what they were saying.

Same thing that happened in all divisions at all tracks. Money hath taken over and the haves have separated from the havenots. Racing as a whole has seen this take over and until things get back to basics it will be this way until it dies.

I dont think you were in SC. Sounds to me like you stopped in Dublin Ga. maybe Cordele or anywhere in South Ga. Before you start throwin those stones, Florida was nothing but orange groves and rednecks until Mickey Mouse. I have been through towns like Okechobee and Arcadia going from Ft Pierce to DSS and let me just say the quality of people round those parts is not exactly prime choice material. Even the north has its rednecks and uneducated hicks.

On the original topic Boneman has some great ideas. The pocket rocket racing sounds like a great one. Does anyone know how many people have one that is sitting because it is not legal to ride anywhere and the have no where to ride them. I bet you could get a fair amount on a wednesday evening, for 10 dollar pit admission with a little road course out of cones. Get the kids out and maybe they drag mommy and daddy back to watch car racing on friday night.

Lawnmower racing is awesome. Although dangerous it has grown in popularity partly in fact due to so many old lawmowers in existence. Who doesnt have a neighbor with an old crapsman lawn mower sitting behind the shed because the deck rusted through.

Flat track quads would be wicked on the 1/4 mile track. They would be too fast for the banked track. There is no doubt speeds on the 1/4 would exceed 70 mph. They already drag race them because people with them are looking for new challenges and venues to race.

All ideas are good ideas for getting people to the track. Too many people put it down because its not "car racing" Well car racing isnt exactly packing them in and its all entertainment in the end. Hold a monster truck rally at the track and see how many people are in the seats. It isnt real racing and it isnt car racing but the place would be full and actually making money. I can almost guarantee you Mr Hart is losing money on friday nights by looking at car and fan counts and I can promise you there is a point at which he will say no more and lock the gate.
