    That's an interesting perspective, and one that I can't totally disagree with. I think in many classes there are a lot of really good, competitive races when the track permits it. I'm not going to pretend there is a single track in Florida that often preps in such a way every week, but I've seen good races plenty of times at East Bay and at BRP and Volusia. The upper classes (lets say sprints and late models, and maybe even mods) do tend to be a little less competitive on the local level. I think a big part of that is the disparity between the "have lots" and "have less" and the "have nots" of the field. I admit I went to very few races this year, but in previous years if random luck didn't fall into play those classes were typically dominated by a small handful of guys who were just light year faster than everyone else.
