  • News Flash all Pro Truck Drivers.!!!!!!!

News Flash...........just want to thank all of the Pro Truck drivers and teams that came to Orlando Speedway yesterday,we had some really good racing and I want to thank all of the drivers for paying attention on and off the track to line ups ect,ect .

On another note I am tired of the negativity of all the pro Truck drivers telling people not to race with the spats series ,that's wrong and you know who you are pro truck drivers don't stand for this let me know and I will personally let everyone know who they are ,stand up to these people ,they own no tracks and they will sink you pro trucks real fast and when the track owners don't want you at their tracks things will be real bad for you wake up ,we need one set of rules and until you all come to the table ,tracks and drivers will get no were so start talking about this for next year lets all put something better for everyone and again thanks for all of the support, see ya at the next race.

Opinion from a truck observer: I thought SPATS deserves a pat on the back for a very successful day at Speedworld. We can all agree that we love the track, and that excellent races take place there. That group pulled it together and gave dozens of willing racers a chance to air out their equipment and have a fun day.

Is it a sustainable long-term approach? Who knows, but it was certainly a good day.

I left during the red flag for the Pro Challenge driver. Was that guy ok? It was a terrible hit and it scared me. He must have had a HANS on...

The drivers name is Randy Glick. He has a broken left leg in three places and broken rib. Surgery was this morning to put a titanium rod and screws in his upper leg. Long time racer and friend. Was in good spirits early today on Facebook too.

Randy took a very hard hit one of the worst I have ever seen looked like car made a very hard right off of 4 then 90 degrees head on into wall,he was in a lot of pain in car I called the red as soon as his car truned right Ems did a great job getting him packed up and on the way to hospital he was a strong trooper get well real soon Randy ,John Sarppraicone

"We need one set of rules..."--x90

For sure. To the fans and track owners, trucks is trucks.

Get well, Randy. FYI, my son broke his lower leg and had a titanium rod installed.

Took him a couple of weeks to walk, about another one to learn to drive with his left foot (!), probably a year to get totally well.

Here is the good news--he is virtually 100%. He can tell you when the rain is coming, though...

Great job on directing the race and keeping it running smooth John,as far as the negativity I would like to see that list, there is several of us truck owners that are trying to support both series but there has to be some give and take and compromise,it can't be one way towards one series,if my name is on that list just remember there's 3 sides to most stories, and I haven't said 1 thing in the past about the truck series that wasn't a fact. Thanks again for Sunday,.Matt

Can someone explain why the tracks decided to not post results on KARNAC ??

Is it they want clicks on their websites or FB pages? I am not going to 8-10 websites to hope to find results and I am not on FB. We can't be at every track every week. Just one more nail in the coffin of short track racing unfortunately.

Always thought marketing 101 was to get your product or brand in front of as many people as possible by any means possible.

                    Florida Pro Truck Series

Saturday saw 18 trucks brave the hot Florida sun at the Bullring Auburndale speedway. Qualifying saw the 25 of Cody McDuffie take the top spot followed by the 15 of Tommy Kelly and the 37 of Michael Goddard rounding out the top 3. The invert of 9 put the 99 Cody Martell on the pole who was coming off of 2 straight wins and the outside pole was the defending champion number 50 of Danny Anderson. Martell took the early lead, with Anderson settling in in 2nd. Martell had stretched an early lead while the 24 of Donnie Burkhalter was gaining on Anderson and eventually got by him to capture 2nd. Meanwhile the action behind the top 3 was heating up with a 4 truck battle for 4th. The 50 Anderson would later have mechanical failure giving 3rd place over to The 15 of Tommy Kelly. The race was on a fast pace and went all 50 laps caution free with 2 and 3 wide sometimes with lapped traffic. Burkhalter got to Martell in traffic but ran out of time to attempt a pass. The 99 of Martell won his third in a row, followed by 24 Donnie Burkhalter, 15 Tommy Kelly, 25 Cody McDuffie and 37 Michael Goddard rounded out the top 5.

The Citrus County Speedway web site has all of the results posted. They always post results on Tuesday. It's one of the most complete short track sites i've seen, results, class payouts, championship standings, etc.

One other excellent part of the Citrus County Speedway website is the class photo section. It's not finished yet, but many of the cars are featured.

Thank you all who posted any updates or results

Especially since I didn't get out anywhere the last couple of weeks. You know it's bad enough that the tracks don't want to at least post their weekly results on here. But they depend on Facebook for EVERYTHING. They won't even post results in a timely manner on THEIR OWN DAMN websites. Why do you have a track website then?Hell just do it all on Facebook keep it all like a secret society where outsiders aren't welcome. Winning business strategy!!! Is it because most of you are scared we will see you had eight cars a division and would just go elsewhere? Is it because some of the drivers are secretly in the witness protection program? Are you trying to avoid an I.R.S. audit by not fully disclosing how many people came through the higher end pit gate? Or do you all have undisclosed pneumonia that we are all finding out about after the fact?
