TV's tough

I started this show in 2012 at Punta Gorda Speedway exclusively on you tube and I love doing it but its hard to keep sponsors! We have had a few along but they don't stay long! Maybe 3 months. You have to constantly dig for sponsors. I have done 4 shows before this one all on cable networks! The last one I did on there was $750 a week When PG closed when Kevin williams lost it I moved it to Desoto and we are still doing it. We had one sponsor at the end of last year but we lost him and are going into this season with none! I'd love to do one with you dave if we could ever get it together. I like Dave don't have the finances to go to the other coast to do one.

Youtube I was told my someone I knew that put things on youtube that after so many 1000's hits, I believe it was 5000 you got something.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do something but right now I don't have the time to devote to securing sponsors or to put something really good together... If someone wants to help put it together and has the equipment necessary to do it along with living in Orlando, I'd give it a try as long as I made something doing it since I promised my wife I was done doing things for free... My history website takes a lot of time to do and I really only get about a half-day to work on it right now and thanks to some good folks out there, I'm able to keep it going and will (hopefully) soon be able to upgrade the site so it's even better...
I used to have a weekly radio show called Chasin' Racin' that started at a station is was with in Kissimmee... Art Chapman with Action Performance in Daytona bought the hour for me and any other ads I sold were gravy, so to speak, and I actually made a little $$$ doing it... And account executive with 540 AM asked me to move the show to their sports talk station and made the same Saturday morning time slot available to me along with expanding the show from 1 to 2 hours... So I went from a 1,000 watt signal to a 50,000 watt clear-channel signal... But what looked like a good deal turned sour quickly as they screwed me over big time and I haven't done a racing show since although I've been a guest on other ones from time to time...
The only local racing show that I know of right now is Racing Radio on 740 AM/96.9 FM that airs at 9 am on Sunday mornings... The show is terrible as they really don't do anything of substance and much of their information is incorrect...

I cant believe another track wouldnt want to have you as an announcer.

I am afraid to ask NSS why you are not there.. as I may get super pissed off. Pissed off Kathy is not good.

My father started myracenews.com as he was tired of inaccurate reporting. We handed it off to his photographer and friend just before my dad passed as he could no longer find the energy to keep doing it. They covered mostly the northeast.

The direction of the site is now going national. They are in vegas this week cover the xfinity race. I put him in touch with Tyler Sontag for photos of any Florida events. I am sure he will use him in the future.

It is all in the making at this time. If you would like to be a contributor in any fashion down the road, let me know.

I took a few photos at speed weeks as they couldn't get down this year , but I would totally suck at the reporting part as I cannot keep track of who is who etc.

Again, not sure I wanna know why NSS doesn't have you in the booth, but it is a sever loss on their side as well as another reason for me to stay home.

Let me know if you do land somewhere... you are a draw for me. I like ppl with knowledge.

I also have a friend that does a weekly show online. I will ask him what is needed for this and how you might get started.
