In searching for the Photo By Numbers content, I came across a few very interesting, if not outright wierd, racecars. Here are a few:
Starting with one of the strangest ever, this car was built by Ken Reese to run at Oswego. The test driver was none other than Tim Richmond, long before he went to Indy and Nascar. The story told by Reese is that Tim had a hard time getting comfortable in the car because there was no left front wheel to gauge anything by. They added a "dummy" wheel just to add a comfort level, and the car was smokingly fast. It was also banned before any track would allow them to run it!
