No harm, no foul. Bobby is no doubt zealous. He has passion. I don't think he would even disagree. But really, yes, the track is technically alive. But then, so wasn't Teri Schiavo? What good is the place in its current state. Haven't the Haase family been given more than ample time to follow through on their obligations? I would also add, I think it probably pisses Bobby off that some of the courtesies and benefits extended toward the new owners weren't extended to assist Bobby. I think a level playing field isn't too much to ask.

Yes, Bobby is in a full court press. But don't you think there are in fact things going on that people on Karnac don't know? So you think he is on a crusade just because, and there isn't already a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for when the current tenants do leave. There are just some things at play where if you connect the dots, the whole picture becomes a lot more clear. But that traxk definitely can rise again if the Haase family vacates and new people are allowed in. But it's useless and sad the way things are now.

I agree, Bobby is ambitious, I also agree that we do not know the whole story, just what is posted here.

The track is in trouble, we can all see that. A track with no stands, I do not think that anyone in their right mind would say that is okay.

Now, granted I do not remember the details when Bobby was down there (memory failure due to excessive hops and barley over the years) but yes the Hasse's have had alot of chances. Punta Gorda is a nice track and does have potential but I am sure that no one wants to see it close again or we possibly lose it for good.

I mean we have lost Lakeland, Lake City (went to dirt), Orlando, we do not want to lose another track. If there is a person or people waiting in line to open the track with the finances to get it going, great!

Just do not want to see it turn into another Lakeland, where it sat vacant for a number of years before they finally leveled it, now it is nothing but a overgrown grass field.

Well, I know more than I can say, but never underestimate Bobby Diehl. And no, Bobby won't be buying it before that rumor gets started. He's just glad to be promoting the sport he loves and he knows an unsustainable situation when he sees one.

Office that's on Air Port property. I expect several of the Florida Track Owners to be present to voice their option to the CCAA on what the Three Palms Management has be allowed to do to the Motorsports in South West Florida. And not paying having to pay their fair share. Everyone pays taxes, and has to provide insurance on the racers. South West Florida needs all the tracks to be productive to keep Motorsports alive.
