Yes, Orbit, like us and many of the small teams that made up a good bit of the entry list in the Rolex series, have gone away. The cost was eye popping when we were doing it, and it has quadrupled since then.

The last year I was involved with the team. We had the factory Porsche driver Nick Tandy. We had over $300k budget just for tires alone for weekend. And a seven digit budget for the entire race including the roar before the 24th. Yeah, it's a little more than the average guy can afford. But that was a great time in my life that I'm glad I had the chance to experience. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Boy, was Rodger ever mad at Tandy after that race for crashing! How things change, Nick was on the winning Porsche team at Le Mans today.
