They promote, they advertise, they keep costs for the racer down, they pay very well, they tech fairly, they have good food and an entertaining (think in between races) show..

Being that I frequent dirt tracks,I can inform you that a large portion of the drivers,crew members,fans who attend the dirt tracks that I run into at one time frequented the asphalt tracks...Once you chase them off they don't come back.

Way to funny Phil. I remember him in the Charger class. He drove a Camaro. I'm gonna have to go look at my old Seekonk programs now. He wasn't a dominator in the class like say Fred Astle Jr. or Ray Soulierre, Bob Stockel, or Dennis Dupuis, but he was a top 10 guy always in a 25 car or more field if I recall correctly.

Won the championship in 1989 and was always a consistent top half runner. Wasn't the top dog but did alright. Sadly he passed away a couple years ago, I never re-connected with him when I moved back here.
