More importantly, NASCAR is "bad", tire & gas purchases are "bad", car counts are "bad", Bithlo is "bad", Phil Jacques is "bad", probably Oldschool as well.

Clearly there is a undeniable consistency here, and behind all the barbs is a big-'ol monster truck size chunk of insecurity. It is evident to all that read these posts, and evident to The One who sees all.

Take it from an old boy, you cannot hate your way out of that, and the details of life will never "fix" that.

There is only one way, and I sincerely hope that you can find your way there.

Neither NASCAR nor KARNAC is the enemy, the enemy lies within each of us.

    Done and Amen.

Go Daddys move had little to do with Danica. As the TV ratings go down so will sponsorship involvement unless there is clear evidence the exposure is benefitting the sponsor.NASCAR has not been traditionally associated with the computer age. They are about cars, beer and things of that ilk.Danica has and will continue to be a plus for the sport. Certainly not for her driving record to date, but admit it she is attractive, actually balsy at times and a magnet for publicity for a sport that now needs all the help it can get as they have destroyed the actual races with their anal rules packages that stifle ingenuity and competition.

I get upset whenever I think of the money that has been pored into Patrick's career, especially when I look at her stats. Using Kyle Larson as a comparison, who is recognized as a great talent in what is most certainly lesser equipment that Patrick's, he has 8 top fives and 20 top tens in 49 starts. She has ZERO top fives and 6 top tens in 92 starts. In the Busch series ( I don't care, that is what I still call it), Larson has 2 wins, 23 top fives, and 41 top tens in 64 starts. Patrick has ZERO wins, 1 top five, and 7 top tens in 61 starts. This is all I need to know to see she has no business in Cup.

              Agree with your performance assessment.

However, it is a slippery slope that we have already gone down. How many Sundays is someone in a car that you have never heard of?

I would suggest that it has probably been since the Ingram/Ard/Pearson days that money has trumped skill.

And, like MW, she has thus far commanded the jack, jack(o).

Again, agree with your assessment, but I like her demeanor and respect her sponsorship command (which is about to be tested).

I would say she is a big improvement over Janet ("ooooooh, they won't let me win") Guthrie.

Now, now, no reason to get upset little man. It isn't your money. By the way, how much money has been pored into Danica Patrick's career?
So you're saying that drivers who have less wins than Kyle Larson don't belong in Cup? That's going to thin out the field a bit.
Of course Kyle doesn't have much of record in Indy cars, so maybe her win and top ten finishes will help even things out.

6:40 Set lines on Karnac so someone will talk to me today
6:45 Go back to 6:31 and repeat throughout day.

                        But, um, you posted...

Don't forget to add lube to your rear end. Otherwise it will be noisy.

OS, I respectfully disagree with your opinion of her. Unlike the no-names you mention, they are most likely paying out of pocket for the privilege. She is wasting sponsor dollars that could go to true racers. I understand that the companies only care about their return on investment, but this is another example of the sport being sold out. I could tells inside stories, that probably many on here already know, that I have been told by those on the inside, about how bad it really is. I hate seeing the truly deserving be bypassed for someone that is not.
