Shorttrack, I agree with you that the modified engine rules have gotten out of hand. My personal opinion is that engines should be limited to those that WERE IN production cars, NO external oil pumps, NO aluminum heads or blocks, and a reasonable claim rule, maybe $3-4000. I hope to have my car ready in a few weeks and will give it a go with an engine that is around 450hp. I know I will be down on power, but I just want to have some fun, and the steering wheel holder will be a much bigger problem anyway!
